Makita hr 2470 hammer drill still drills fine but when using it on hammer started rattling and stopped chisling then put it on drill worked fine been chisling all day got very hot .just stripped down gearbox cleaned grease out checked bearings all good and smooth no noise all parts look like new nothing broken can you help thanks steve

The TE-70 is permantly lubricated. You would only add lubricant if you took the tool apart. You can add a small amount of grease to the end of your bit occasionally before putting in the chuck. This keeps the chuck parts lubed.
