SOURCE: My dryer is squeaking on the dryer spin cycle.

What is your model number ...sounds like the drum glides are going out or the support rollers

If the squeaking has been going on for only a short time, you may be able to get by with only replacing the rear drum bearing, but if it has been going on for some time you should replace the drum bearing kit part # WE25M40. Also be sure to check that the front drum slides are ok, especially the one on the left side of the front drum support, as this one wears out faster. Drum slides #
WE1M481 and
WE1M333 and if front support frame is worn so that there is nothing left to hook the slides into you would need a

SOURCE: When dryer is on it continually makes squeaking sound

You need some lubrication inside the dryer. There are several pulleys and a belt tensioner that can be noisy if not properly lubricated. Be careful to use only an approved lubricant to avoid a possible fire hazard.

GE dbxr463 dryer-can i turn the finish signal off or change it to chimes or tones

Usually you cannot change tones. Sometimes you can turn it down, but that usually would have the volume control right there on the panel. The only other thing that I can suggest is unplugging your dryer and open up the panel and find your buzzer and unplug the wires going to the buzzer. Wrap electrical tape around each of them separately so that you do not cause any shorts when you put everything back together and plug it back in. Hope this helps!

My GE dryer DBXR463 electric dryer doesn't dry the clothes all the way anymore? What could be the problem? I have cleaned all of the lint and checked the venting on the back. It used to worked fine for...

Check the entire vent (exhaust ) system start the dryer and go outside to the exhaust vent ,you should feel a good amount of warm you will fine low airflow. You need good air circulation to help remove the moisture from the clothing warm or hot temps alone would take longer if ever to dry ..this generally happens slowly over time and the next thing you realize is that its running much longer than it use to... plus it cost more....if you still have a concern you may have a thermostat that is short cycling not letting it get hot enough long enough... Hope this helps GOOD LUCK

My dryer is squeaky. it's a GE model number DVL223EYOWW. how do I fix a squeaky dryer?

It depends on what is making the squeaking noise. Could be drum bearing, drum slides, tensioner pulley, pr even the leveling legs sometimes squeak.

My Brand new GE model DBXR463 does not start. I plugged it into 110 volts AC. The manual says single phase 120/240 V and I have 25amp circuit. When start is pressed nothing is happening. Somehow, I think...

If this is brand new i assume you will have warranty..First of all try the plug fuse, next make sure the voltage setting is correct for your area, I note what you say on this! check a timer properly you would need a diagram and multimeter,I wish you well good luck

The dryer has started to make a slight squeaking noise, but it is still drying

On a GE dryer the part that squeaks most is a WE3X75. Centerpost drum bearing. It is a simple repair but you must get into the machine. On a frigidaire model The plastic bearing that mounts in the rear sorta like a GE model. No other dryers that I can recall have the squeaks. The newer GE dryers are made very simular to the old reliable frigidaire models so you ought to hit it out the ball park with these 2 links.
