Hello Sunduffer11, welcome to FixYa!

Make sure that you save your Print Shop File in My Documents folder before doing the following:

Solution 1.
Do a System Restore.

  • Click start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.
  • Follow the system restore wizard. Restore your system to a date when Print Shop is running smoothly.
  • Then try to open the newsletter again.
Solution 2.
Uninstall Print Shop and reinstall it. (You must have the installer CD or the setup file and the serial number.
  • Click start, control panel, add/remove programs.
  • Scroll down and look for Print Shop and double click to uninstall.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Insert the Print Shop CD (or run the setup file) and follow the installation procedure.
  • Then try to open the newsletter again.
Thanks for using FixYa.
Keep me posted.

If this did not work, the next best thing to do is to try to recover it using a popular recovery software such as "Recover My Files"
, but it also does not guarantee a 100% recovery of the corrupted
file. Corrupted Print Shop files does not occur often and is not
popular hence we have limited ways and resources to deal with it.

You can try to right click on the corrupted file, click on properties
and see if it has the option to restore in previous versions as seen in
    the image below.

Try also to update your anti-virus and run a full scan, corrupted files are sometimes cause by virus and running an anti-virus software sometimes recovers the corrupted file.

I can sense the frustration of loosing an important file as it happened to me also.

    Thank you for using FixYa.

    Another method is this.

    Go to START

Right click on DOS command prompt and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR ( if ask for password put the password)

The type SFC /SCANNOW and press enter

Note: The scan may take some time. Windows will repair any corrupted or missing files that it finds. If information from the installation CD is needed to repair the problem, you may be prompted to insert your Windows XP installer CD.

I am sure these solutions will help solve your problem. Regards

    Follow what I type,
The type SFC /SCANNOW and press enter

Print Shop 21 will not work on Windows 7 operating system is there a fix?

When a ‘clean’ install is done of Print Shop 22, exactly as described in this FAQ

'Clean' Install on Win98/Me/XP/2000/Vista/Win7

Print Shop 22 should install on a 64-bit version of Windows 7, with two incidents.

1. If .NET Framework 1.1 is not already installed on the computer, the "Program Compatibility Assistant” in Windows 7 will display this message
this program has know compatibility issues

To continue with the installation, select "Run Program". After .NET Framework 1.1 is installed, the necessary updates will be pulled from the Microsoft Windows Update Service.

2. After .NET Framework 1.1 is installed, the "Program Compatibility Assistant” in Windows 7 will display a message which says that there are compatibility issues with Print Shop 22 on Windows 7 64-bit. To continue with the installation of .NET Framework 1.1, select "Run Program".

NOTE: Even though the Print Shop 22 Vista patch, which can be found here

Download Vista Patch For The Print Shop 22 and PrintMaster 17 Disk Versions

can be installed on a 64-bit version of Windows 7, the patch will not fix the problem with the Amyuni Document Converter, as it does on a 32-bit version of Windows 7 (see above). So, it will not be possible to use the 'Save As PDF' option with Print Shop 22 on a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Instead, it will be necessary to install an alternate PDF driver, then Print to PDF, as is described in this FAQ

Save as PDF vs File | Print to PDF

So far, the only other known incompatibility with Print Shop 22 on a 64-bit version of Windows 7 is that Print Shop 22 cannot be run from a shortcut on the Dell Dock that is provided with many Dell computers. A Print Shop 22 shortcut can be placed on the Dell Dock; but, attempts to start Print Shop 22 from that Dell Dock shortcut will cause several incompatibility messages to be displayed
