Depends on where the air is leaking from. If you go to senco.com and type in your model number you can look at a breakdown and they will list the rebuild kits specific to the leakage, they make an upper o ring kit and a lower kit for this problem. Let me know if you need more assistance or where the air is leaking along with the model number and I will find a number for the rebuild kit. Also the senco kits have detailed instructions on how to install them.

The trigger on my senco 502 nailer will not compress, ie will not fire. Why and what parts if any do I need.

Check the manual if you have a safety switch. Also check for any bent nails inside the gun. Make sure all is OFF before investigating.

Trigger

There is no adjustment that can be made to make the safety work or not. When new, the SCN45 had a safety system that prevents the nailer from firing unless it was pressed against a surface. If your gun fires without the safety being compressed, it has somehow been bypassed either by being jambed or tied in the firing position or the trigger lever is wedged so it can't operate properly. Below is a site that has a great breakdown of your tool that you can reference to see what parts may be missing. This is an older tool and many parts are no longer available.

My makita an451 roof nailer keeps shooting 2 nails I've tried 2 different brands of nails

Nailers that use strips of nails (one nail directly behind the other) will sometimes drive two nails at once and is caused by damage to the driver. The nails are so close together that the driver will hit the first and part of the second nail head. Coil nailers, as your an451, use nails seperated by welded wire making it very difficult the the driver to hit the second nail. Usually when a coil nailer shoots two nails, it is acutally the trigger valve that acutates twice (two very rapid fires). Two very rapid fires is caused by faulty trigger valve. I have seen a roofing coil nailer fire one nail and a second nail drops out of the gun. Caused by weak / malfunction of nail feeder or wire used to weld nails together is too thick.

When firing nailer first nail shoots good but next nails head will get stuck between the push rod chamber. push doesnt seem to return fully top when nail is cycled.

Try oiling the tool first. Remove the nails, squirt a decent amount of air tool oil in the stem where the air hose coupler connects, and fire the tool a dozen times or so. Then put in the nails and test. If it still hangs up then it will need the o-rings replaced.

My Senco SFN1 finish nailer will not shoot a nail. When the trigger is pulled air comes out but no nail is shot. Thanks,Steve L

Not sure about Senco but most have latch you can open to expose firing mechanism. Nail sometimes gets jammed and will not allow driver to fire or if not nail push driver ****** all the way back into gun then see if gun will fire.

Air leak top of gun senco oil less coil nailer scw40r. unclehhotmail.comowd@

Nailer scn40r is an oil less coil roofing nailer. If it will not fire and leaks out head then most likely problem is diaphragm torn or pinhole. Replace firing valve part # BAO120 for good as new operation.

SENCO COIL ROOFING GUN DOESNT ADVANCE NAILS EVERY THRID OR FOURTH NAIL DOESNT ADVANCE

Clean the track and piston by removing nail tray (there are a couple of allen screws)and removing the gunk from the nail tape and if you have been shooting something glued that to. Remove head assembly and thoroughly clean and oil that also. that should fix you right up I have a couple of these guns and that is typical.
If that is no the problem rebuild the gun it is worth it as they are a great air gun
Hope this helped

Senco roofing nailer 200r not feeding nails because hammer stays down after firing which gets in the way of the next nail being fed in.

You have a problem with o rings or the firing valve. I would go to Senco.com and they have a parts breakdown with a list of kits that are available for the tool. They also have a toll free tech support number is you need it.

Senco SN4 misfiring intermittently

This is a discontinued tool by Senco but there are still parts available for it. It sound to me that the o rings and possibly the firing valve need to be replaced. I would recommend going to Senco.com and you will find a complete parts diagram in their discontinued tool section. They also have a toll free number if needed and you can talk to their air pro. I have rebuilt quite a few of these and they are not that hard just make sure to clean all the parts and use lube when replacing O rings.
