This is as a result of an error that must have occurred during installation.
The only way to go about this is to uninstall and re-install the software. This time around, try to take note of all the steps and any kind of notification that might pop up whilst the software is being installed.
If it still does not work after that, make sure that it is the correct version that is compatible with your computer or better still, you can write a complain to the company explaining your ordeal to them.
