My keyboard on my laptop wont work how can i solve it

Could be that the ribbon cable has come loose. If it is under warranty, by all means, take it in. If not, you or someone that is comfortable with removing the kyboard from the pc will need to check the ribbon cable connection (from the keyboard to the pc) and see if it is loose or missing or cable is broken.

Have you spilt coca cola on the keyboard? if so it can corrode contacts.
If not try reseating the ribon cable, if that doesn't work it's a new keyboard. try ebay, price around £10

Kyboard is erratic and doesn't work and the system flashing

sound like your Language / Regional settings. Sometimes the settings get changed, for whatever reason. Check Language and regional setting under control panel. Make sure under regional options and advanced tab are set to English (United States). If this does not help you should seek a repair shop that can check and replace the keyboard for you.

If this helps please rate my solution.

Acer aspire 5570 kyebord

On the bottom there should be 4-6 small screws that have little keyboard labels on them. Remove the screws then pull the keyboard off the laptop, but be very careful and don't force it. If it does not come easy you may have missed something. There is a small ribon connector that attaches the keyboard to the motherboard. Unlock the slide lock, pull and reseat the ribbon. Put the keyboard back on and test. If it is still having a problem the keyboard or the connector may be bad. You might also go into control panel, hardware, device manager, and reassociate the driver for the keyboard.

My keyboard does not work on my NC6000 , I havee googled the error and found it to be a common error corrected by taking the laptop apart and tightening the screw next to the fan for some reason this helps...

This might sound obvious, but try removing the keyboard, and check to see if the ribon cable is connected. I just purchased a used nc6000, and had no response from my keyboard. 2 screws on the back, and 4 little plasctic tabs between the f keys at the top. The tabs just slide down. Hope this helps.
