It's not supposed to. The camera comes with a battery charger. Take the battery pack out of the camera, put it into the charger, and plug the charger into a power outlet.

My dear, Just select settings, profile select the offline mode and it will be activated. Or, you can switch off the phone, remove the sim card and switch on, it will ask "use phone in offline mode" click yes and phone eill be on in offline mode. When you insert sim card it will still ask the same question select any of your mind and enjoy your phone
The USB cable does charge the battery if plugged into pc. The red LED will light while charging and go off when the battery is charged. I cannot find any options to buy the software online but the Support email is: [email protected]

as far resolution is concern you must install the display drivers or vga driver for viewing the 16 or 32 bit.
i looked up the casio tech number online, and i called and got through right away. the lady said it is a very common problem, and they are sending me a brand new battery free of charge. no shipping or anything. it means the battery isnt taking the charge.
means either istallation is not done properly or there might be a problem in usb cable.take out the usb cable and connect it again tightly then it eill show you on the desk top that Everio is connected.
what you have to do is load the software for your
camera and from there, you eill be able to do about anything you want.

i may suggest you use another software which quickly recognizes cameras and is meant for pics and vids from camera.

Try a different battery. If that doesnt work, it may be your charger port. Take an old tooth brush, turn off the phone spray alcahol on the toothbrush, and scrub the port on the phone. If that fails your charger port needs to be replaced. Check with your provider about the warranty. If its not under warranty, check my profile and we can help you for sure.
