HELP! bought a BX2450 Samsung monitor and it`s not showing full resolution, i need a driver for my macbook pro 13` (mid 2010) anyone????

I have a very strong suspicion that you are connecting your Macbook Pro to the VGA input on the monitor instead of the HDMI.

Your Macbook Pro uses the Mini Displayport connection type. Are you using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter? If not, purchase one and that will resolve your issue.

If you are already using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter, make sure your resolution is set to the maximum (1920x1080 according to Samsung's website) in Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays > Display.

If available, select the 'Best for Display' option which should automatically set the maximum resolution for the display. If not, select 'Scaled' and choose 1920x1080.

How do I connect my MacBook to this? I have a mini display port on my laptop...

Hi,
You will need to get an adapter that looks like this if it didn't already come with your Macbook.messic_3.jpg
It's called a displayport to VGA adapter. Most computer shops should have this item. Also remember to grab a VGA cable if you don't have the one that came with the monitor. Cheers.

I have a 24" aoc 2436Vh display and a new 15"

I purchased the AOC 2436Vh display yesterday. To get my MacBook Pro to work with it I purchased Apple's Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter. Since the monitor comes with the VGA cable, all you need is the adapter to plug it into your MacBook Pro. It works beautifully and set up is easy if you know your way around the Mac. Although the HDMI works perfectly with my PS3, I strongly recommend the Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. I hope this helps.

How can i connect the macbook pro into an lcd projector, which adapter should i use....?

what are your options on the projector side?
Your Mac comes with a DVI (Digital Visual Interface) port.
Attach the DVI to VGA adapter to the VGA connector of the external monitor.

depending on the external monitor/projector, you may need different adapters.

My Samsung Blue Ray Disc player with a Samsung WIS09ABGN LAN adapter won't connect with my Apple Express WiFi and MacBook Pro. How do I make it work?

This disc player is get an IP address.
1) If connected to MacBook Pro with an ethernet cable, it will get an IP address something like 169.254.xx.xx but it will communicate with the laptop

2) If connected the Blu-ray disc player using Apple Express, you need to create an Ad-Hoc wireless network to share media and stream it.

**But ensure that the in-built firewall on a MAC is completely turned OFF or else it should be properly configured.

Samsung T220 monitor hook up to new macbookpro-how-pc driver only-help

Hello,

I think you're using the adapter in reverse. The adapter that changes from VGA to DVI but not the other way. You should plug the adapter into the DVI out on the macbook and then plug the VGA end of the cable into the monitor. If the monitor has a DVI input then you should be using a DVI to DVI cable to hook it up.

Once you have the cable plugged in you'll need to enable dual monitors or switch to external monitor on your macbook. Don't worry about the driver's cd, they are not necessary to make the monitor work on your mac (or on a PC for that matter).

There are two great instructions on how to do this, just google for "macbook switch to external monitor"

One here.

Second one here.
