Yes it is dead, you need to buy another and toss that one. the lubrication in the fuel is a necessity, not an option. you many want to buy a four stroke device next time, they have really come down in weight and price, and that way you do not need to worry about oil in the gas anymore.

Why is my craftsman lawn mower keep shutting down every 5 feet or so. Its about 4 years old. Any suggestions?

Are you sure you have to mix the gas with oil.I don't think Craftsman engines mix the gas. It you have a dipstick that tells me that you put oil to the full mark on the stick. If your carb has a cup on the bottom of the carb take it off and clean it out. Also clean the fine holes out that's in the bolt as they get plugged with dirt.and engine won't run.Usually an air gun will do the trick. When you put it back together make sure the gasket is installed properly. If there is not much oil when you check it you could seize the engine.

check age of gas. Cannot be more than 30 days old.
Make sure to use fresh gas w/synthetic 2-cycle oil @ 40:1 ratio (1 gal.) Gas to 3.2 oz. Oil). Do not use old or stale oil/gas mixture. Always use the proper oil/gas mix. If you do not, your engine will suffer rapid, permanent damage.May need to clean or replace carburetor.

Ran out of gas put gas in wont start, pulled spark plug and put a little gas in ,it fired but wont stay running, the primmer bulb seems to be not working

Hate to tell you this but if you didn't mix oil with the gas properly (most likely a 40:1 ratio) then the chain saw will seize up and won't work again.

Check and replace if necessary the fuel pump. When the car ran out of gas the fuel pump was not cooled enough and worked with air inside, then fails more and more often.

Makes extra oil, has died & won't start, rplaced o2 sensor started and ran for a bit, has now died again??

It can't make oil. It must be fuel or antifreeze mixing with the oil. Is it running really rich and flooding the engine out? That would explain gas in the oil. Or do you notice the antifreeze level going down?

Forgot to mix the fuel with oil in a chainsaw

If you didn't burn up the engine yet, DON'T USE IT. Dump the gas back in the can, and then mix the oil.

If you used it, and the chainsaw died, its done. Not worth even trying to fix. You could buy a new one for the price.

Lawn Tractor won't start after wrong fuel used, drained, etc

Check the fuel shutoff solenoid (on the bottom of the carburetor -- has a wrie plugged onto it) -- it may be sticking.

Spray carburetor with carb cleaner. Then if you can get it to run long enough to do any good, put carb cleaner in the fuel -- follow mixing proportions on the label.

If this doesn't work, need to take carb apart and thoroughly clean it.

Chain saw emitted sparks and now does not start.

Hi

When the engine get warm and die(I suppose)check the spark at the sparkplug. You can let the saw run until it ran out of gas and you will not distroy the engine.Change the sparkplug.
