Hi,

I suggest try to reset your BIOS, its either you can go to any local computer centers or call Lenovo for service, if your machine is still in warranty so you can repair your machine for no costs.

Here is the link for the phone list.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to solve the following error message: Not enough space in runtime area !!! smbios data will not be available, and then locks the keyboard. how can I flash or update the bios if I can't use the key

This may be a failed Bios update.
See this... https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20140218071633AApHjUR
Also, the hard drive or some other critical component may be failing, or just the OS or hard drive corrupted. If you have files that you do not want to lose, you could try this... Pull the hard drive out, and use a "USB Hard Drive Adapter" (available fairly cheap online) to connect the hard drive to a friend's computer, and save all the personal files (documents, pictures, etc.) you can to a folder on the friend's computer or an external hard drive. That way, at least you may not lose your files.
Then, you could try to do a Factory Restore or Reload on the computer, and if that works, copy your personal files back to your newly restored computer.

By the sound of it you have a BIOS problem. This can happen with a bad flash of the bios HP automatically updates the system if you have not shut off that feature. You may have recieved a bad update. It may also be youre power supply. Check to see if your power supply has the full voltage if you have a Voltmeter. Try reflashing the Bios if you can and make sure to check the "clear nv ram" feature if available during the flash process.
Hope this helps... Dale

Insufficient Runtime Available on Agent

If the UPS display is indicating runtime at 6 mins, and software is saying insufficient, seems like a communications issue. I'd try downloading the latest communication software for the UPS and reseating the communications cable at both ends, making sure no bent pins, etc. could be causing a comm glitch.
