I removed software for Soundmax using Windows Add/Remove programs, and have lost my sound. Is there any other solution than finding the original CD?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am purchasing a new computer and do not want all of the bundled software. How can I prevent its installation or completely remove it.

If you are buying a name-brand computer, whatever they are including will probably be pre-installed, whether you like it or not. Using Windows Add-Remove section of the control panel, you can decide which unneeded software to remove. In reality, that software will still exist but, unless you ask for restoration, the room used by those programs on your hard drive will be freed to be used for other storage purposes so over time, the space originally used by the 'deleted' programs will be overwritten. Some bloated programs may take some finite time to actually remove (or conceal) so patience is advised. Read a little of the included programs' purpose since some may be so integrated that normal operation is disturbed. HP in particular seems to find it necessary to introduce their own garbage into sections of Windows so removing some of their software can cripple necessary Windows functions. Caution is advised and if you feel unsure, please seek out a friend who may be more familiar with the software you wish to remove. For example, there will be with certainty limited versions of popular CD/DVD or Blueray utilities and removing these can damage your ability to deal with removable optical storage devices.

How way can i install sound recording? via microphone..

Is the problem that you need sound recording software? If so.....If this unit is running windows XP, you can use sound recorder (but you will be limited to 30 seconds of recording time.)
This is available from Start, All Programs, accessories, entertainment, sound recorder. If this option does not exist, you can install it from Start, control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove windows components.
The latter option will ask you for your original windows CD.
The other option is to get a 3rd party sound recording piece of software.
One that I personally use is at the following address: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/

Best of luck!

Audio driver

Hi dang4g, I gather you have the current needed sound max driver software? Please open control panel, than open Add/ remove programs. Un-install any previous sound driver software listed. Next open the System icon. Click hardware tab, than click the device manager button. Scroll down to Sound, audio and game controller. Find the yellow ! point. Right click it once & left click once update driver. Windows hardware wizard will open.
Click not at this time & click next. Click install from a list or specific location, than click next. In the next window click browse button. Go find where you have stored your sound max driver software. Choose the correct folder & click next. Your sound driver software should install. Re-start the PC when finished. Check windows updates for a possible update.

Good Luck!

Mike

I don't know if you manually erase those drivers, but I recommend you reinstall the drivers with the setup option, then uninstall them, again reinstall them ans see if work, or depending the OS if is Xp or Vista, ?
