The spin/rinse cycle does work manually, yes. This cycle does not kick in when we run the machine as you normally would.

Does your machine drain water?

Usually before it goes to spin, the Electronic or Timer will first need to drain most water.
If it does not drain, clean the filter compartment (Found at the left bottom section of the door).

If it does drain water and I am wrong, please let me know, would be glad to help you.

Kind Regards

It does drain water. It is a Bosch Axxis WFL2060UC. All settings run through the "wash-ready" cycle but skips the "rinse/spin" cycle and stops. We can manually set the rinse and then the spin cycles.

The "rinse/spin" cycle is not working...

    Thanks,
    Jim

Thanks! It sounds like a PC Board issue. Does the spin/rinse work when you select it manually? If not, then you may need to replace the PCB, because no power is then released to the components from the PCB. Part to order is: 481304 I must warn you though that this is a very expensive part and more than likely not worth considering. If it does work, in manual, I'd suggest using the manual setting until the machine packs up completely, as the automatic modes is also controlled via the PCB, and this is a temporary solution.

Then use it on manual only, the part of the PCB responsible for the Normal mode is faulty.

Electrolux front load washing machine ew10001 spin cycle slow on "SPIN" setting runs fine through regular wash setting? any ideas?

Hello jamespeattie - Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

LG Washing Machine Model : WD658 When using the function "Rinse & Spin", the timer decreases when rinsing. However, the timer decreases and stops at 9 minutes. This results the machine...

Try setting a lower spin speed. You may have a bulky load which the washer is having a difficult time getting up to the high speed spin you have selected. Also, did you know that on most LG washers, you can do just a spin without a rinse? Just turn the washer power on, then, without selecting a cycle, just push the spin speed selector to select the spin speed desired. This should set the cycle for about a 12 to 14 minutes pump and spin only. Then push start. You can spin that bulky load at the lowest spin, then try it again at the next faster spin if needed, without adding rinse water.

I just purchased my Cabrio washer...have had it a week. When I use the normal cycle, the machine does not spin the clothes at the end of it so when they cycle is done the clothes are dripping wet. I then...

I have had my Cabrio washer a little over a year. No it isn't suppose to do that. There is a setting for spinning high medium and low spin. Maybe you can change the spin setting manually. See if that works The washer is computer operated so the spinning cycle must be out on your normal cycle. I did myself a favor and I keep all clothes on towels and sheets. I set the temp for the water on what I would like manually. The washer fills up with more water and seems to clean the clothes better and My washer does the same thing from time to time about not spinning. Just remember you can set all wash manually with water temp and spin cycle. Is your washer still under warrenty?

My Amana top load washer does not spin when it gets to this cycle and just "hums". Suggestions?

You probably have a motor issue, Have you checked the spin in the other cycles, if the washer spins in other cycles its not the motor, its a timer issue.

A new motor will cost you $120 american and a timer will cost you about 85. try repairclinic.com or partselect.com.

Price out replacing the washer vs fixing it.
