Can my la590 American legacy 2 series 800 watt handle Boss CX122 Chaos Exxtreme 12-Inch Subwoofer 4-Ohm Voice Coils??

It is only stable to 4 ohm mono(which is 400 watts RMS or a bit less not the max rating of 800 watts which is a PMPO rating).

Your Sub would have to be wired in series(8 ohm final load, if you wire it in parallel 2 ohm-you will fry that amp).

I have power akoustik 12"

If you sub is dual 4 ohm voice coil, you can get a 4000 watt amp (which will give you 1700 watts RMS at 2ohms). The model number is OW-BAMF40001D. Hope this helps.

I have a pioneer XL2-520 amplifier. I bought it used. So I didn't get the user manual and the sticker on the bottom of amp is not there.. So I was wondering how many watts (rms) in mono mode at 2ohms....

i think its a power acoustik amp im not sure that was a pioneer model. if it is apower acoustik the specs are

125 rms x 2 @ 4 ohms
150 rms x 2 @ 2 Ohms
300 rms x 1 @ 4 Ohms

You can only bridge the amp at 4 ohms dnt go lower than that

Which amp goes with 2 jl audio w3v3 4 ohm

Choosing a amp isn't always easy but it first begins with what you want.

--RMS of the speakers is what you want to use to find your amp.
That's going to tell you what watt's your speakers can REALLY handle @ 4 ohms.
--Also what you want to spend $$$ will determine how clear it sounds.
--I prefer a Rockford Fosgate amp for base and kenwood for highs.
--Also look at the RMS watt's rating to find the proper power and go a bit beyond what you want so that the amp performs with ease.
--Last but not least you chose the amp for how many speakers you are going to connect to that amp. For example if you are using 2 JL audio 12" for subs, then a mono amp is perfect. But if you are connecting 4 speakers, you should begin to find the amp with four channels so that you obtain left, right , front and rear sound.

Knocking noise with my kicker compvr 15"

comp VR 15s are rated @ 500W RMS 1000Peak.
The lanzar vibe amplifier is 2 x 600W RMS at 4 OHMS 2 x 1200W MAX at 4 OHMS 1 x 2400W MAX at 4 OHMS Bridged 2 x 1000W at 2 OHMS RMS.
Your subs are single 4 ohm subs.
If your subs are wired stereo, they both are seeing 600W. (more than the rated RMS)
Chances are, you have them wired parallel to a 2 ohm mono load - of which that amplifier is not rated. In theory, it will produce about 2000W @ 2 ohm mono for a short period of time.
Your amplifier is too powerful for your subs. Turn down the gain setting to 3/4 or purchase better subs. Also be sur the subs are inthe proper enclosure. It sounds as if they are excurting past their linear x-max and colliding with the rear bump plate. This will cause damage down the road if left as is.

Unsureness of wiring configurations.

Mamola,

Get an amp with at least 200 Watts RMS. The RMS value is what is important about driving Subs. This could be proclaimed to be a 1000 Watt amp. REad the RMS value.

Wiring. It is better to series your Speakers to give them and your amp more reliability,

Get a Mono or Bridgeable amp. If it si bridgeable, BRidge the output as described in the manual you get. Some Amps have a diagram right on the output..

AMP+ to Sub1 +
Sub1 - to Sub2 +
Sub2 - to Amp -

Get a 4 Guage wring kit. Run your power wiring down the Drivers side, and Audio signal wiring down the Passenger side, keep the two separate.

Sub+amp configuration

With a single 4-ohm subwoofer, usually the best choice is a 2-channel amp that can be bridged to a single channel. In your case, the sub is rated for 1000 watts. Not many amps are rated for that kind of continuous power into a 4-ohm load. Kicker doesn't list a minimum power rating, which isn't unusual in subwoofer specs. Depending on your budget, I'd look for an amp rated for 300-500 watts minimum; the higher, the better, up to 1000 watts. Most amps will have several power ratings, based on the load impedance and number of channels driven. A typical 2-channel amp might be rated like this: 150 watts x 2 channels at 4 ohms 300 watts x 2 channels at 2 ohms 500 watts x 1 channel at 4 ohms. The power rating you'll want to look at will be the 1-channel, 4-ohm rating. You can look at mono amps, too, but in the power ranges you're looking for, a 2-channel amp will probably give you the best value. However, if you can find a mono amp with a high enough 4-ohm power rating, it would run cooler and might last longer than a 2-channel amp with comparable power. When looking at mono amps, you'll find their highest power output will be at 2 ohms or 1 ohm; make sure you're checking the 4-ohm rating when making comparisons. Some amplifiers that might work well for you: Kicker SX900.2 Kicker ZX850.2 Alpine PDX-1.1000 Rockford T600-2 Hifonics ZXi 1006 Premier PRS-D2100T Power Acoustik OV2-2200
