Question about Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital Camera

1 Answer

Hi! I'm trying to download photographs from my camera, everything shows fine in the thumbnails in the software window, but the "Quick Preview" icon in the bottom left has a red square, and if I click "Download" the word "busy" appears in red next to the icon. I tried closing everything and disconnecting and starting over, but no change. Any idea what happened? Thanks! :)

Pros avoid these kinds of problems by using a card reader and dragging and dropping to a folder they create on the desktop. From there, you can send the pics to the software. Hi! I'm trying to download - typrice_161.jpg

How do i read the display

I have had a look at the manual, which can be seen here:-

and downloaded if required.
I also assume that the screen you quote 0000/2009 from looks like this: 25298386-zaroub1mziznni4k1xdwqerx-3-0.jpg and although not clearly explained in the manual (at least during my quick perusal) my previous experience of other cameras makes me think that this is related to the photographs taken by the camera and stored on the SD card, and the number of photographs can still be stored on the SD card according to the resolution the camera has been set to.
In your case I would say you had no photos on your SD card with space available for 2,009 more at the resolution set.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

Once you have done three rounds and several photographs, please go to the next position. His next position should not be too far from their current position. Movement of about three meters is good. You don't really need software. Buy an inexpensive card reader and use it to download to a folder you create on your desktop. Then, open the folder and on the left side of the window, just click on the slide show option.

Thumbnails not loading in Imagemixer library. File names

I have the HG20 that had the same problem. I called Canon support (very nice) turned out that I was using the USB port on the front of the computer. Disconnected and used the USB port on the back of the computer (motherboard) now everything is working fine. Apparently there is a USB hub problem when using the front USB ports. Hope this helps.

Downloading movies from PowerShot SD850 IS to Mac G5

Sounds like you are watching the thumbnails but the files are still on the camera... try downloading/transfering via iphoto.. the files should show up in your iphoto library and if you double click them, it will launch quicktime and allow you to play it...
let me know if that gets you there...
