Question about Acer Aspire 3102WLMi Notebook

2 Answers

Hi,I can't hear any sounds (Skype, playing CD) out of my laptop (Acer Aspire 3102 WLMi). I tried everything Skype,Windows help suggest but still no luck. My volume is up. It used to work until my friend restored the whole laptop. He isn't in the country anymore:(((. I checked Device manager, .... . Do I need to instal a new driver? The laptop has built in speaker. On Skype people can hear me via a mic on my Logitech webcam but I can't hear them. Very frustrating. Thanks for help. Vendula. PS.: I understand laptops usually don't have a sound card?!

Yes, you have to reinstall the driver and try again.. and before that please check how many audio drivers already installed.. if more than 1 just go to right click on the speaker symbol in your task bar and go to playback devices and change default devise at there.. hope it will work for you..

Acer Aspire 1690 cooling problem whit windows vista

Windows Vista is a very demanding Operating system when it comes to system resources and it doesnt come as a shock to hear that you computer runs warmly, If you werent experiencing any problems when you had windows XP installed, I would suggest downgrading to Window XP, otherwise wait for October 22 and purchase a genuine copy of Windows 7 and use that.
