It would be the trial version preinstalled.

You have to buy it now or use open office which is free.

How do i restore back my labtop microsoft office home and student 2007??

You'll need the installation disk and your product key. Put in the disk and follow the prompts.

I don't believe Office 2007 had product key cards with preinstalled software, so you shouldn't have to deal with that. However, if you mistook Office 2010 for Office 2007 and have a key card that you bought from the store, you can visit http://office.microsoft.com/backup to redownload the software so you can enter your key.

You also can access Office 2010 for free online through Microsoft's Skydrive. They're trying to compete with Google Docs this way. For more information please check out this previous question/answer: http://www.fixya.com/support/t9311498-want_power_point_2007

It is clearly that most of the Laptop only packed with Operating System and the office is only a trial version. You have to purchased separately for your Office.

Where is the product key mention for Microsoft office 2007

The product key is in different places, on the product case inside with the disc is usual. Or if you have bought a tower with Office preinstalled there may be a label attached to the case of the computer.

try this microsoft support page for advice where it would be.

Hello,

MS Office 2007 trial version had ended already. There is a new free trial for MS Office 2010, you can go to the Microsoft website http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try to try the program for 60 days. Once you download it, the product key will automatically show. You must uninstall the MS Office 2007 trial version first, before you download the MS Office 2010 to avoid conflicts. Installing this program would take a while or depending on the speed of internet.

My microsoft office 2007has expired

The office 2007 that you have was this a preinstall with your system? what I mean is, when you bought the computer did it have office installed? this is important cause the preinstalled office is a 60day only product, kind of like a demo so that you can get used to it and choose to purchase it, after it is expired you can go to the Microsoft website and buy a key for the product you want, like Office 2007 Home/Student or Office 2007 Professional. I think now though you will only be able to purchase Office 2010, as the demo support for office 2007 has been removed. if you have bought the office system from a software vendor you should have a box with a serial key on the inside cover, all you will need to do with that is enter the number then activate the suite and you will be officeing in no time. hope this helps

How to know the product key for office 2010 for dell laptop pre installed office 2010 in it windows 7 os

Hi,

If it was preinstalled on the laptop, it was probably a Trial Version otherwise they would have also provided you with a product key.

If it was a trial, you will need to purchase an upgrade for the full version or buy it online or from your local software retailer.

Alternatively, if you have nothing to save, you should be able to restore your laptop to factory settings with your recovery disks.

Hope that helps, pls rate the solution
