Yes, maximum. You won't see this type of battery life if you use it throughout your day.

The battery drains off very quickly as soon as i fully charge it and unplug it,, it hardly satys upto 12hours with minimal phone usage,, the battery metre usage shows cell standby 42% and also phone idle...

Go to teh phone settings, and under sync accounts disable all teh sync accounts that you are not using such as stocks etc. These constantly use up data and hence drains your battery as they do so in teh background. This should greatly improve your battery. If not, your battery must eb damaged and i woudl suggest you purchase an extended battery which may have up to 40% more battery life.

How to increase processor speed of a rooted android phone

For most smartphones, the processors are clocked at speeds much lesser than their maximum supported speeds to improve battery life. That also means you are not enjoying all the juice your phone can give you.

Lets see how you can overclock your android phone to unleash its full potential.

Important: Overclocking requires super user permissions and so your phone needs to be rooted.

SetCpu is the best app out there to overclock your android phone. Its sheer simplicity and useful options sets its apart from its competitors. You can either download it as a paid app from the Android market or simply download the zipped apk from XDA forums.

Using SetCpu. Once you install and start SetCpu, it will first show you a screen with two options. Unless you have a specific reason to do otherwise, simply select "Autodetect Speeds Recommended".

write_tip-ynr5un4jtyctcjtii2mgkc4h-3-0.png

A screen will come up where you can change the maximum and minimum clock speeds and select the scaling method. SetCpu will automatically detect the maximum clock speed your processor supports.

Max - maximum clock speed.

Now its a bad idea to rush and drag the slider to its maximum in one shot. Although there will be no problems for most phones, it could lead to instability for some. Instead, try increasing the clock speed in small steps, running some heavy apps like games and if you don't see any instability, go back and repeat with increasing the clock speed. In case you find your phone going unstable at any speed, just set the speed to slightly below that value.

Min - Minimum clock speed.

Minimum frequency is the speed at which your phone will run when it is idle or no heavy apps are running. Setting it to a too low value can cause your phone to go slow with incoming calls, alarms and any other app that runs while idle. Generally it is advisable to set it to at least one third of the maximum speed your phone processor supports.

Scaling.

The scaling option determines how aggressively the minimum and maximum clock speeds will be applied. The drop down menu gives 5 options as below -

  1. OnDemand - Automatically sets the minimum and maximum based on load. This is the recommended setting.

  2. Conservative - Very similar to OnDemad except that the scaling is less rapid.

  3. Powersaver - Makes your phone run at min speed always to give maximum battery life.

  4. Performance - Makes your phone run at max speed always.

  5. Userspace - This option is useless as of now and is kept as a future option for apps to change clock speed that SetCpu doesn't use.
Once your phone looks comfortable with the new frequencies, you can use the "Set on Boot" option to enable the settings permanently.

How to make your phone`s battery life longer!

Never leave your phone charging full nights (exception if the battery is new and needs formating). Sometimes, a lot of Nokia cell phones don`t show up the "battery full" message. This is not to worry, just leave your phone to charge maximum 3 hours.
Check your settings! Some phones have LED`s and other lights working with no particular/good use (for example: if you phone has music lights, if you disable those, your battery will have a longer life). Disable key stroke tones, you are looking at the screen when you are typing, so you don't need a beep every time you press a key, this is a really good battery saver! If you listen to music, use how often you can headphones/handsfree, this saves your battery and protects the phone`s sound parts to get broken.

FOR HOW LONG CAN THE BATTRY LAST BEFORE YOU CHANGE IT

How Long Does the Nokia E65 battery REALLY last?
Ever wonder how long the phone battery actually lasts? For the first use of my Nokia E65, I charged the phone for 24 hours after receiving it (still not sure if this is necessary), then took it off the charger Saturday afternoon. The battery low warning first sounded 54 hours later. This was after
•Calls: Around 15 calls made and about 3 calls received, with almost 40 minutes call duration in total.
•Data: 726kb data sent and 3.96mb downloaded
•WIFI: About 20 minutes of WIFI use
•Applications: Use of Skype and Gmail application as well as a bit of Nokia Maps and Google Maps
The battery eventually gave up after 2 more hourse of standby. The Nokia website says the following about the Nokia E65 battery:
•BP-4L 1500 mAh Li-Po standard battery
•Talk time (maximum): GSM up to 11 hours; WCDMA up to 4h 40 min
•Standby time (maximum): GSM up to 18 days; WCDMA up to 20 days;WLAN idle up to 170 hours

If you are wanting to make comparisons with the Nokia E71 battery life, this is what the Nokia website claims for the Nokia E71. The Nokia E65 and E71 both use the same battery - BP-4L 1500 mAh Li-Po battery but E71 is slightly more demanding on the battery life.
•Talk time:- GSM up to 10 h 30 min- WCDMA up to 4 h 30 min
•Standby time:- GSM up to 17 days- WCDMA up to 20 days- WLAN idle up to 166 hours
If you are willing to help, maybe you can do the same experiment for your Nokia E65. Use the call logs and the data counter under "Connectivity" and measure how long your Nokia E63 battery lasts with "normal" usage. Report your findings in the comments below and someone just as curious as you googling battery life E65 will also benefit from your efforts.
Your mobile habits may not be as demanding as me but I hope this helped you in your battery life calculations for the Nokia E65.
To charge a battery from empty to full, it took 2 hours and 40 minutes

....... If you are willing to help, maybe you can do the same experiment ... It lasts me about 40 hours before I get a battery low warning .... I got my Nokia E65

LG VU,battery indicator shows fully charged but I can only talk a couple of minutes before phone shuts off and shows dead battery? Just a dead battery or something else going on here?

Hello,

I believe the cells of your battery is very weak that is why it can no longer hold charges for long.

All you need to do is to get a new battery on your phone and makesure you charge the new battery to its maximum capacity before you start making use of it.

This will help preserve the life span of the battery and make it last longer.

Take care.

Battery life only last one full day on normal usage n web surfing and music and video

The battery is nearly worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and the maximum battery capacity reduces with age and use.
You need to purchase a new battery.

I was to advised to charge a new battery only 2 to

Two to three hours should fully charge your battery, to porlong battery life I would let the battery run as low as possible before recharging. Recharging half charged batteries causes the battery to age faster.
