you didn't mentioned any thing about the indications. is there is any indication on the projector. if projector have some problem it will show the indication for the same using its self diagnosing system.

just do one thing check the power cable and the power at the socket to which you have connected the projector. if these are ok and the projector have no indications on its panel, then the smps power supply in side the projector have some problem. if so it is difficult repair the smps by the user. need good knowledge of electronics servicing, because there is harmful high voltage points.

Is there is any indication on its panel, then if you discribe the same will provide you the exact solution .
Also try to check the inserted new lamp , lamp cover is it properly closed etc.

if the projector starts try to reset the lamp hour
1. Go to its menu select option2
2. From the option 2 menu select lamp runtime
3. Press and hold the enter button for approximately 3 seconds
4. After resting just power off your projector and turn it on again.

Also check one more thing

The "CONTROL KEY" may be set to "OFF". In order to set the "CONTROL KEY" to "ON"
without using the remote control unit, keep holding down the ENTER button on the projector and press the MENU button for more than 2 seconds.

I replaced the lamp, it worked for 5 days, now when i power it on, i get no light

it could be due to an incompatible lamp which has blown once again or it could be due to a faulty ballast
open the lamp and see if all looks good!
if lamp looks ok, u need to check the ballast,
before that just do a quick check on the small switches which are under the filter cover.
if the cover locks have got damaged then the switches will not close and hence show a similar problem.
this is the most common problem with SONY projectors

The projector's lamp cover might not be securly on or you might need a new one, or the projector has blown a fuse that can be replaced other wise it could be your projector but be sure to contact your sony dealer first.

Projector light not on

check the lamp. if the inside has bulges, black spots or fogging, replace the lamp and reset the lamp timer (through the menu). if the lamp is ok, listen for a high-pitched whir when you start it up. if you don't hear one, replace the colorwheel. if that and the lamp are ok and you get the fans on, replace the ballast. you could get the part from an infocus service center and do it yourself, or you could send it in to them and let them do it. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good.

Infocus lp420 powers on (can hear sound) but no

if you get no leds, it's the power supply. if you get fans, it may be the colorwheel. if the colorwheel is ok, it's the ballast.

PJ-TX100 Projector won´t start up out of Stand-By

Hi Mario

If there is no response on the Projector it normally means that the Mainboard is faulty.

Check if your machine is still under warranty because this quite expensive to replace.

As far as the schematics are concerned - I'm unfortunately not able to help you out with that.
