WHEN I CHANGE INK CARTRIDGES SHOULD THE PRINTER BE ON OR OFF. THANK YOU ,JERRY
Epson stylus color 777 printer: when press button below red ink light indicator the cartridge holders do not move far enough left for me to change the cartridge; what to do. feel I need the step by step or pictures. thanks

For all printers I'm familiar with, it should be on. Some won't even move the carrier (the sliding thing the ink carts go in) over to where you can get to it if you open the cover with the power off. And you'll want to print an alignment page after replacing a cart too or your printout may be blurry (most printers will prompt you to do that after you close the lid).
