If it stop working then the fuse might have blown it need to replace with the same rating. If the fuse already installed and it operate normally then you can use it safely.
I hope I give you solution to your microwave problem.

Electroluc convection microwave stopped working while cooking

Hi - From what you have described it sounds like the microwave possibly has a wiring failure or faulty control panel or magnetron. I would suggest contacting a professional that accurately diagnose and repair the unit

Error code "Door"

Sounds like a Whirlpool model (you didn't mention your model number), and apparently one of those with the overdesigned door switch circuits.

See sample photo below.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

My mother mistakenly locked her samsung microwave. She can't figure out how to unlock it and she can't tell me what model it is. Can you help?

On a friend's Samsung (she didn't tell me her model number either), you lock the keypad by pressing "0" and then "2". Press the same sequence to unlock the pad. Maybe this will work on her model.

If it is new take it back to dealer. If not diagnose with tech and get parts to repair if not too difficult from this website

F-9 problem

Hi, generally the F9 code indicates a problem with the door latch (usually upper) or with the control board.

You can do a Google search for my text file "doorsw.txt" to help you diagnose and repair door switch trouble.

BUT - since it always stops at 53 seconds, that leads me to think you have trouble with the control unit (circuit board / controller assembly).

Once you read and digest the info on door switches, please feel free to do an updated post and I'll be happy to help you further.

It may be corrupted ROM in the control unit.

Take care

GE Spacesaver microwave trips the circuit breaker

Since power = voltage X current, 1.58kW / 120VAC = 13.166A

So this unit should be fine on a 15A breaker unless the breaker is bad, the wiring or a connection is loose somewhere between the breaker and the microwave, or the microwave's magnetron or high voltage transformer are failing and drawing extra current.

Microwaves should really be on the own separate breaker if at all possible. Plus, the more a breaker trips, the more work out it gets.

Have you measured the voltage at the outlet? If that's off, current and power will be affected. It should be about 110-125VAC.

A good power test for outlet and wiring integrity is a toaster, toaster oven, or hair dryer rated at about 1500 watts.

If it doesn't run and heat steadily, then there may be a problem with the house wiring or breaker.

If it passes this test, the problem is likely in the microwave.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Microwave

There won't be a reset button.

Is it dead? No display, no lights, etc.?

If your outlet is live but your microwave is dead, then you likely have an open internal fuse, thermostat or thermal cutout.

Please post back if you need more help and think you or a friend want to work on it.
