Without knowing who the manufacturer is and the model number, there's not much we can do to help you.

Can a pro recommend a comperable replacement wall AC only-no heat?

Most air conditioners now are reverse cycle, which means that they can heat as well as cool. Cooling only units were popular many years ago due to the price difference for a reverse cycle. Today, the cost of manufacturing has dropped and it has resulted in cooling only units being virtually finished. I would suggest you get a local air con sales company to come to your house to measure up properly and determine what would be best. There are a lot of factors in installing air conditioning. IE/ The size of the house, the area it will be required to heat / cool, the amount of windows, types of walls, roof etc (Heat loading on the house) Roof and wall insulation etc etc.

Hi, there are some little thermal switches, and or 2 fans that may not be working properly. In both cases they are not cooling the unit down enough for it to maintain the set temperature. This unit is pretty much low grade, high cost, JUNK. Your minor repair might cost in the $400.00 to $500.00 range, but shortly after the evaporator (part of the cooling system) will fail. That part is not available. It took me $350.00 repair call to find this out. Good luck, and enjoy it will you can. By the WineEnthusiast only offer to help will maybe be a $150.00 price break on a new and improved model

Getting very very hot on hp vista g 60 laptop

Firstly make sure all vents (especially the CPU cooling Heatsink Vent on the rear, these form internal blankets that cook the unit if not cleaned. A better solution if you are not traveling much is to purchase one of the notebook stands which include cooling fans, these range in price from under $20 depending on manufacturer and style. Removing the protection of the base can cause other issues like static charges and insect infestation. Though in the past I have had to cut away the existing inferior vents to make them larger and then use speaker mesh to give the protection required, this has often worked in keeping such systems cool. As I have never been happy with many of the cooling systems in laptops. Especially in the AMD units which seem to run at higher temperature than the Intel units in the past, though AMD is improving in some of the recent models I've worked on.

Hello, most likely you have a bad run capacitor, this gives the motor a boost. They range in the price range of 15-45 dollars and can be bought at any heating and cooling supply store.

It's hard to give you a price range, as that model has apparently been discontinued by the manufacturer.

I have a kenmore model 790.96562602 ceramic top electric range. The right front burner does not heat up.

the heating element inside the unit is broken or split, that one is we need to replace, the problem is,how much the price? and also dont try to replace by it your self, call an authorized service technician to do it,but check the price of part and the labor cost? if so very high, much better to use the unit until the other heating element is become dead, then buy a new one more practical and have an warranty for 1 year compare to replace the part is for 1 month warranty only.

I have a Frigidare washer/dryer combo (model # FLEB8200DS0). My wife washed a heavy load and the washer stopped draining completely. Agitator works fine. Please HELP...

I'm not sure if the heavy load had anything to do with it or not. this unit has a remote pump, which means the pump doesn't run off of the main belt . It actually has a motor of it's own. Basically you would have to remove the front access panel, of course unplug from power, make sure the pump will turn. with the power off you can rotate the cooling fins on the pump motor. if it turns freely then you would have to determine if the pump motor is getting power. If it is getting power then you need to replace the motor.
