Open the battery door, located on the underside of the camera (use your thumb to slide the door outwards). Install the SD card into the slot located next to the battery bay. Close the battery door.

There are usually 2 places that an sd-card can be inserted in a digital camera - Inside near the battery under the door, or a separate flap on the bottom of the camera labeled SD.
If there isn't a slot specifically for an SD-card on the bottom of your camera, open the battery door.
Try and locate a very thin rectangular ****. Once you have found the slot, take your sd card and push it inside the slot until you hear a click, that means it's securely in place.
The Polaroid A515 digital camera can only use SD cards upto 1Gb. if you are trying to use a SanDisk 2Gb SD or a higher capacity SDHC card you will be disappointed.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Use a memory card reader if you use computer to format your memory card. go to my computer look for the icon of your memory it will display if you insert your card reader. right click to the icon choice format that all.

sanddisk i always a good company but they are all the same for me.
If you have a SD card in the camera i suggest just pulling that out and plugging it into an SD card reader and pulling up the pictures that way thats the easiest way of getting the pictures out
