I dropped my phone in water. Everything works but a few buttons and the screen flickers a lot... I've only had it for like a month, is there anything I can do to fix it?

As for me, better trun off your cellphone first and remove the covering and battery and let it dry for approximately 5 hours or 4 hours with a blower but be careful not to fry it. Flickering means something inside or the circuit inside is experiencing short circuits and may cause your cellphone to permanent damage.

Help! Cell phone black

I've dealt with a lot of cases of devices being dropped in water. Sometimes, you cann get lucky and get it dried off before damage happens. A lot of times, the effects occur later. The moisture has a way to find a spot and the corrosion takes a little while to happen. I'm not very helpful but it's a fact of life: electronics and H2O don't mix. Sorry!

Sony Ericsson c905 screen was flickering so I fitted a new screen and it's still flickering please someone help me fix this as its driving me insane!!

It sounds like a hardware error. Anytime you replace parts such as a screen and then update the software you need to restart the phone a few times to get the bugs worked out. However if you have tried this and your still having problems it's a hardware issue. Something mechanical in that phone has failed. Its really not uncommon as all parts have a life expectancy. However that life could be shortened by dropping the phone/ damaging the components. Check your graphics connection, it may have become loose and that is what is causing the screen to flicker. Should be an easy fix.

Dropped I phone in water

I've known people who's done that and they put it in a bowl of uncooked rice. Bury it with lots all around it. The uncooked rice absorbs the moisture. It worked for them. Good luck!

Samsung Galaxy S2 fell into water wont turn on ! PLEASE HELP

You should not have tried to use it right away. You should have immediately pulled the battery out and then blow dried it and put into the rice bag for 24-36 hours. Because you tried to use it is shorted out. You will need a new phone as it is probably not going to be able to be fixed. Sorry!

Absolutley EVERYTHING still works just blank screen after dropping in water.

If you put it in water, immediately shut the phone off, pull the battery, sim card (if applicable) and put everything in a bowl of white rice for a few days. The white rice should remove the device enough so everything should be usable.
I've also heard that immediately freezing the phone works too, your choice.

The screen does not appears when it is caused with water damage problem.
