Did you remove all the packing materials that may have been inside the unit, before installing it? That may be the knocking noise you hear.

Can a Fujitsu compressor unit be connected to multiple inside evaporator units that have different tonnage ratings. 18,000 BTU compressor and 9,000 & 12,000 BTU evaporator units inside.

call fujitsu engineering division direct and ask them about what is connected and if it works ok
logically as each evaporator has it's own tx valve as long as the compressor is large enough to run all together it should work but get the right information from the fujitsu experts

No heat but fan keeps running

If the air conditioner compressor runs all the time the main control board might be defective. The main control board provides the voltage to the fan motor and compressor. These boards are often misdiagnosed. Check all other components to be certain this is the cause of the problem.

Our unit is making loud clicking noise and spraying water when in the cooling air condition mode, but not when the fan is on. What could be the problem, and is it fixable?

you may hear water splashing that is because it is coming off of the condenser the part that is outside the water runs off the condenser and is forced out by the fan for as the noise could be something in or on the inside fan blade or outside fan blade as long as the water is not coming inside your house and you have enough slope on the unit you should be ok

On a GE AGQ10AJG1 10K BTU, 115V window unit the the compressor makes a very loud noise. Could it be that something burned out because with previous owner the thermostat had fallen down and the front grill...

If the unit is working/Cooling, this is a good thing.
Lot of times best thing to do is just take the wondow unit outside and clean it up. make sure the bolts that hold the compressor down to the casing are tight.
A small plastic brush can remove excessive dirt lint from the coils, jusr be carefull not to damage or bend the coils.
Make sure all the screws are tight, Then after all is clean and dried out try running the unit again.

Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

Ge window unit runs fine but there is a rachety sound

Hi,

One way to reduce the sound it makes is by placing styropor insulation around the unit. Although a better way is to have it inspected by technician to check the blower balance and correct it.

I hope this helps.

A/c won't blow any air

check the status of the blower, if it is not working than try to open the front panel of the ac and check the wiring of the fan......or else contact the service authority. i'm sure that there will be any lose connection or the wire is disconnected/cut..............have a nice day :-)

Very loud knocking noise that can be felt if touching the unit.

If the heater has a heat sink with a brass non-return valve then this could have a fault creating a hammering noise that resonates through the heater.
