Question about Gigabyte Slot 1 GA-6BA Motherboard
Hi - You didn't say if you were running Windows or not. If you are I have to assume it would be Windows XP or even earlier with your PC being a PIII. I would reinstall VLC and if you've done that I would then try various other players like Classic Media Player. I would also have a decent Codec pack like K-Lite installed.
Not knowing how fast your P3 CPU is, with an older 2X AGP video card you have to consider the real possibility that your system simply doesn't have the power to run any high bit rate video files such as HD or H.264 or maybe even high bit rate flash video. You might need a motherboard/CPU/Video Card upgrade to run the video you want to see. That or run smaller, slower video files.
Good Luck and Thanks for using Fix Ya.
