On some cameras, it's called "shake reduction" or "shake control". On others, it's "image stabilization". Check your manual.

My Sony DSC-W330 got wet it won't take pictures

Try putting it in a zipploc bag full of rice for a couple of days, make sure the memory cars are in the holes or put some tape over them. Try it it might work, give it some time but don't turn it on any more that was the worste thing to do. Shoulda' put in front of a slow fan in a warm room for about two weeks first. Try the rice give it a week then try.

Sony Cyber Shot W330: My photos are blurry! I feel like I'm holding the camera steady. I've had the camera for 1 year. I am not sure what settings to use . . . ISO, VGA, easy mode, Flash on/off, ?...

Sorry about the focus problems... has the camera been dropped at all? Are you getting a lens error message? If not, then I suggest resetting everything to factory default and starting from there.

I don't have a W330 to look at, so I can only give you my best guess where to find the proper menu options. Go into the menu, then scroll through each screen till you find one that says "Setup" (I believe that Sony uses that name for the section we are looking for) and then you should see an option that says "Initialize". Select this to put all settings back to default, this may clear up the problem.

Now put the camera on the green "A" setting for the shooting mode, and the flash should be on "A" (with a lightning bolt) for automatic. I hope this helps!

If u r unable to see live picture on LCD screen in camera mode, it means CCD Imager of camera isn't working. Contact nearest Sony service shop for proper solution because it requires CCD Imager replacement.

Every few photos is blurry

Try to push the shutter button half way down first so the camera will auto focus first. You should hear the lens move to focus, then press it the rest of the way down to take the picture. Your pictures should be much better quality if you do it this way.

Canon sd 550 (and sd 200) shutter speed

If you check out a review site such as www.steves digi cams. com or even the Canon site to check out the spec of the camera to discover what shutter speeds are available. When shooting fast moving subjects try panning the camera on the object as you press the release this will[to a degree] keep the primary image sharp[ish] whilst blurring the background
