No, you cant. I have 2 tvs just like yours but the LN model is newer than the SP model tv. I have the same problem, my LN tv has a cracked screen and the other SP model is good

Not worth replaced the screen,same as a new tv.Will not find new screen cheap,or the tv companies sell them out not cheap or reasonable price.

If you stated correctly that the inner plate is broken, that means it took a hit from the back. The plasma display will cost almost as much as the set. If you have homeowners or renters Ins. I would contact them and see if you qualify for insurance benefits.

I had the same problem and had the TV serviced and found that the y board was blown $350 total. The repair guy explained that the board has a hot transister underneath that slowly leaked onto the board, but says that they can not get Samsung to admit to the problem. Works fine now but only have a 90 day warrenty on the parts.

Theoretically yes functionally no. Not unless the parts are the same, chack the model numbers of the plasma screens. If they match you can change them out, if not don't try it.
