My ceiling fan Hampton bay remote receiver unit model uc7058r, overheat and burns just at the installation time. even i have the emote control unit like new, i want to ask if it is possible to built in totally manual operated, whit chain or wall mount dimmer. thanks in advance

It slides in above right above the ball, in the mounting bracket where the canopy is. You may have to kind of encourage it to go in there, and you will need to push wiring off to the sides and out of the way to help it have clearance to get in there.
