Jessie doll string in the pulled position

Sometimes you can get the string cord to release and retract back. Hold the doll firmly and gently pull the string out about an extra two or three millimetres (eighth of an inch) or as much as possible. Keep the string tight for a short while and then allow it to retract slowly. It may take a few attempts, the skill is in pulling the string that little extra distance, holding it for a few moments, then slowly releasing it again.

My pull string wont move on my ryobi x430

Mine seized up and the string wouldn't pull because my girlfriend used it a few times without making sure that the oil was full. I filled the oil well with Marvel Mystery Oil and was able to slowly get the string to move. Eventually the motor became lubricated enough to pull the string with regularity and now the weedeater works perfectly.

I CAN'T FEED THE ATENNA CABLE THROUGH THE CHANNEL. IS THERE A TRICK TO THIS?

if you haven't already pulled the old cable out you can tie a piece of string or small wire to the end of the old cable before you pull it through (make sure the string is plenty long). then as you pull the old cable out it will pull the string through the channel. when you see the string untie it from the old cable and on to the new cable then pull it back through the other way.

Echo trimmer srm-230 pull string to start trimmer is stuck. I try pulling on it and it only comes out about an inch.

The pull string is probably tangled up. There are usually vents which enable you to see into the machines pull string assembly. Loosen the fasteners and pull off the cover exposing the pull string. You can unwind and untangle and then it should recoil perfectly. If that does not work continue to dismantle the pull string assembly because you probably have a broken starter pawl which is located on the back of the pull string assembly.

Replace pull string (how to put string on after taking cover off)

Basically, pull the string through the winding hole and knot it off insuring no more than .25" tail on the knot and pull tight. :)

I just got this guitar. I pull the tuner control, strum the string and after the guitar tune itself, the G string still out of tune??

Are you sure you are struming the G string at the right point? One might be able to fool the tuner by triggering a harmonic on the strings or being too aggressive in the strum.

I would pull the peg and see if the string CAN be tuned manually. It is possible the G string is bad or somebody put the wrong string on there.

Remember that strings can be within about 10% of the breaking tension when in tune.

Also it appears that the thing can detune itself to nearby keys. Make sure you have the dial set correct when you pull it out to tune.
