Just remember when you go for a clean slate anything you have on your computer now will be erased. Hopefully you have a backup of all the items you want to keep. Or if you can still access your computer copy what you want on a CD or DVD disk or an external drive otherwise it will all be gone.

To do a clean slate you will need the discs that came with your computer when you first got it. Hopefully you still have them if not you will need to contact the manufacture for replacement disks.

Now start your computer up as you normally would, put the the restore CD in your CD Drive and then restart your computer. It may ask you on the the restart to hit any key to boot off the CD if so then hit a key on the keyboard. After that the software will take control of your computer. If at some point it asks you to reformat your hard drive say yes to that question. Your computer will format your hard drive, then install some files. It will reboot several times and this can take up to an hour to do a complete install. After it finishes I would first install the antivirus program you use then I would go to Microsofts update site and download all the latest updates, that can take several hours to get them all on your machine. Now your machine is ready to accept anything else on it that you want to put on it and your virus will be completely gone.

I hope this helps you out if so please leave me some positive feedback.

If your virus has gotten into the registry already then you need to reformat and reinstall your PC. but if not then you still have options, try ccleaner, this program can clean startup items and clean your PC. try also using Eset nod32 antivirus, eversince i switch to this antivirus, my computer does'nt infected already with any kind of viruses, it updates itself almost everyday.

good luck bro....

dont forget my rating, thanks...

If you want a clean install make sure you format the hard drive during the install process, do not select fast format.

How to Format a Computer
Want to know how to format a computer hard drive? Need to learn how to format your computer and start with a clean slate? Formatting a disk prepares the surface of the drive to accept and store data. Computers are often formatted before they are sold, donated, or returned to an employer. Likewise, computers with viruses or errors can be formatted and returned to their "out of the box" settings.

Put in your recovery disk and restart the computer a clean install of windows will format the hard drive automatically! If you don''t have the recovery disk you'll need a windows disk to do the same.
Do you have it set to FAT32 or NTFS? If it's FAT32 you can pop in a windows 98 rescue disk and restart the computer with CD support type in A: and enter then you type in like this A:\ format C: /s
and it will prompt you to carry on by selecting Y for yes hit enter and start formatting.
You then have to remove the floppy put in your windows disk or rescue disk(which has windows XP on it) and restart and select install at the following prompts etc
You can reboot to Safe mode alternatively(restart and hit F8 when POST messages are displayed) and scroll up to safe mode and enter. If you have an anti virus software program installed you can run a scan and remove any possible viruses that way or if you know what the virus is use the search function and find and delete the infected files!

My computer is very slow

Windows Vista has a bad reputation of being dumb and slow. Windows XP and Windows 7 are way better in this respect. If you are using Windows Vista make sure that your RAM is at least 1 GB and your processor should be around 1GHz. If this is not so upgrade will definitely help. Just follow the below instructions to enhance your PC's speed.
(1) Keep your PC free of viruses especially if you extensively use the internet. Always keep a good updated Antivirus on your computer all the time and make sure you do not install more than one Anti virus on a single computer it is not recommended.
(2) Keep your Windows registry clean. Use a good registry cleaning software like RegCure and keep it updated. This also makes a good difference.
(3) Clean your Hard disk of all unwanted stuff manually and you can use disk cleaning utility of Windows also. To locate Disk clean just right click on any Hard disk partition (C:, D: etc) and take the properties of it. You will see a pie chart just beside that you will find the disk cleaning button to remove unnecessary files in your PC and boost its speed.
(4)After disk cleaning "Defrag" your disk also if possible. Just right click on a disk partition and go to properties you will see a window and on top you will see a tab "Tools" click that and you will find "Disk Defragmentation".

Make sure it happens.and your PC will be running fast in no time.

Cant install any antivirus

If you have a virus which inhibits you from installing any virus software, you're in big trouble.
Try using an anti-vifus disk or CD/DVD made on a clean machine, by putting it in your CD/DVD drive, and running the scan and clean from there, to see if you can get rid of the virus.
Generally, this kind of virus will not allow you to remove it, and you will need to reformat your hard disk, then reinstall Windows from scratch.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
