you can download software for your printer by going to the makers website and to the support / downloads section.
you have selected a HP printer, you will be able to obtain the software for it from www.HP.com from the support/downloads section by entering the model of your hp printer (for example Deskjet 5550) into the search field in the support section and selecting the drivers and software checkbox.
