Three things to check here;
\Is the door seal allowing warm air into the refrigerator; you usually have an ice build up too
\The thermostat could be old and not sensing temperature; test this with a thermometer
\There could be a very slow refrigerant leak stopping the fridge from working; this usually means a very hot to touch compressor

Crosley Frost free Runs continuously

Try not to panic firstly, if you open the door and it starts to run then it was not running before hand right? or did I miss something?

Temp guage or thermostat I think this is one and the same leave it at a midway position for a while and lets see if it reaches temp in the fridge or not.

Freezer always on

The service technician was partially correct. The compressor does not run all the time, but the fan inside does, and this actually is for efficiency. There must be something else affecting your electric bill.

Gas dryer

Hi Mette-q,
Welcome to fixya.com

I'm Huuum,

You said, you have a Kenmore gas dryer mod. 110.95087400 ser. ms0201135 it's a smartheat quiet pak9. Is there anyway I could convert this from natural gas to electric, is there a conversion kit available.

They do have conversion kits for gas to LP.
But I believe that there is no gas to electric.
You must find a gas line from some where in the home and run it to your location, or buy an electric dryer.
Remember that if you can run a gas dryer it will save you 30% on your energy bill over electric and in time pay for the cost of running the gas line to it.
I hope you are not in an electric only house!

How old is the dryer?? Waiting for your response!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help!
Please do not for get to give a rating before you sign off!
Thank You, HUUUM

Here is a interesting report that I just read today

Repair or replace?

When to pull the plug on your old refrigerator

It nearly always makes sense to undertake simple do-it-yourself repairs,
such as replacing a gasket on a refrigerator or a freezer.

Typically, you'll also find a troubleshooting section for more-serious problems
in the owner's manual.

Should you pay for a repair or buy a new model?
The answer depends mostly on the age of your refrigerator,
how much you bought it for,and the cost of the repair.

Follow these guidelines:

When a repair makes sense.

If your refrigerator is under warranty or less than four years old (three years for top-freezers),
paying for a repair makes sense.
Note that refrigerators under warranty might require service from a factory-authorized technician;
readers have found them on a par with independent repairers.

When a repair might be a wise choice.

If your refrigerator is out of warranty and is four to seven years old,
it might make sense to pay for a repair. Customers generally pay $100 to $200 for a repair.
But you might want to buy a new model even at this stage,
given that today's models are quieter and have added features.
Higher energy efficiency is another plus: Energy Star-qualified models made after April 28, 2008,
are 43 percent more efficient than conventional models built before 2001 and 56 percent
more efficient than those built before 1993.

When it pays to replace.

The repair costs more than half the price of a comparable new refrigerator.
Data also shows that it doesn't pay to fix a less-expensive top-freezer refrigerator
six or more years old or a bottom-freezer or side-by-side eight or more years old.

Thanks to better recycling programs, less than 10 percent
of a refrigerator you replace is likely to end up in a landfill.

PULL THE PLUG FROM THE WALL , Check the compressor at the bottom rear of the refrigerator to see if it is "HOT" don't get burned. If it is hot then probably the fan next to it is not working,( I found my light bill caught in the blades of mine). You will have to plug in the refrigerator to see if the fan works. If nothing is working and you have a repair manual for your Model refrigerator. Read the directions on testing the relay unit on the side of the compressor. If This is OK then check your defrost timer. The above 2 items plus the thermostat are the only things that keep your refrigerator from operating. If the "COMPRESSOR" is cold when you check it then immediately suspect the relay unit on the side of the compressor or the defrost timer. If you have already checked them and they are still good the contact your electric company for damages as the Brown-Out may have fried your Compresspr due to the surge of the electric coming back on. I have seen this happen time and time again over the past 55 years. Remember always disconnect the electric when repairing any type appliance. To check the items I mentioned you will probabley need an Ohm-meter. You may have to call a certified repairman to give you a repair bill that you can submit to the electric company. Then again some electric companys are consumer friendly and send their own inspector to certify your claim.

Keeps defrosting or stoping all together.

Check that the AC outlet works where the unit plug. Its seems that you have a power loss problem, either on the unit or in the wall outlet.
