Question about Computers & Internet

I cannot see my mp3 player when on Bearshare and cannot copy music to the player If your player is not being recognized, it may not be compatible with BearShare, or it may not be properly installed (if this is the case, please consult your device's manual).

Most MP3 players should work with bearshare. Outside bearshare check if you can open the file when you go in your hardrive. If you cannot then there could be a problem with the MP3 player you are using. Right click the music file and select 'open with' and look for the MP3 player installed if none is listed go to the default application option. If there is none or it would not still play or have it recognized, have the player re-installed. Remember to restart.

Delete music files from ipod touch

Bearshare is a program that can be used to download and listen to audio files on your computer. You can also use Bearshare to put music directly onto your iPod or portable music player. Using Bearshare to add songs to your iPod will save you the time of having to search for your downloaded files using iTunes. By using Bearshare, you can download a new song and place that song directly onto your iPod without having to open another software program.

Download the latest version of Bearshare (see Below). http://www.bearshare.com/ Install Bearshare onto your computer. When you do, Bearshare will search for audio files that are already on your computer. The program will then add those files to the "My Library" portion of Bearshare. Open Bearshare. Click the "iPod/Mp3 Player" option on the left side of Bearshare. Plug your iPod into your computer. A dialog box will open on your screen. Click "OK." The "iPod/Mp3 Player" option will be replaced with the name of your iPod. Click the "My Library" option in the top left corner of Bearshare. Any songs that you added when installing Bearshare or that you have downloaded with Bearshare will appear on the screen. Click on the song and then drag the file over to the name of your iPod found on the left side of the screen. Doing so will add that song to your iPod. Continue doing this until you are finished adding songs to your iPod. Disconnect the iPod and close Bearshare.

Why do only some tunes save to your hard drive? When downloading music from Imesh or Bearshare only some save to media player.....

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :-

Sansa c250 troubleshooting

The Bearshare songs have either a Green or Gold disc next to them. If you don't have a current, paid subscription, one set of them won't work. If your Bearshare subscription is up to date, connect the mp3 player to the computer and have Bearshare update the licenses on the songs. Also, some Bearshare songs have fixed-term licenses - your playing rights from the mp3 player expire after a certain amount of time. If you choose songs that are only in mp3 format (i.e.: not bearshare, napster, etc.)

Cant get music from bearshare to sansa e250.

This is because all of bearshare songs are licensed, so if you are planning on listening to the music on a mp3 player you have to deal with that problem. What tends to fix the problem slightly is using windows media player and ripping the songs from there. Although this only works if the song if offered to be played for a limited time. All locked bearshare songs will not be able to be transfered.
