This is a rather unique refrigerator in that there is a seperate evaportator (cooling coil) for the refrigerator section and the freezer section, where as almost all other refrigerators only have coils in the freezer section and use a fan to blow some of the cold air into the refrigerator section. This design will prevent cross contamination of odors between fresh foods and freezer sections, and allow lower humidity freezer at the same time as higher humidity fresh foods. All good things.

That said,..... you need to take the cover off the back wall from inside the fresh foods section and thaw out the defrost drain locted at the bottom of those cooling coils. If I remember correctly, there are a couple hidden screws, and the back panel needs to be pryed off using a putty knife, I think you will find 4 small arrows / pointers for the spots to pry at. With cover removed, use a turkey baster with warm water until the water flows out the drain.

I do not get ice or water

Without water you will not get ice anyway, my suggestion is to check the water line into the unit & make sure it hasn't kinked anywhere.

Most likely what caused it to blow out is the feed tube going through back refrigerator wall is frozen not allowing water to flow. You can probably just reconnect 1/4 inch tubing once feed tube is cleared.

GE side by side; model # TFX25JRYD Serial #

So the dispenser is getting water. Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

If the valves clicks but water doesn't get to ice maker the fill tube can be stopped up with ice.The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.
