Question about Canon FAX-JX200
The problem is that you may be not lifting up the top cover (where you put the paper in). As a result it locks the carriage and creates this error. Lift up the cove at the top of the machine, then turn the machine off and on again and your problem will be solved.
You can also try:
Turn OFF the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. After a while (maybe an hour or so), plug the power cord of the machine back in and turn ON the machine. If this does not work, turn off the machine, unplug it from the power (wall/ac pluggin, if hooked into a computer/phone line, its fine), and hold down the power button of the machine for a minute straight. Then allow it to sit unplugged for a while, and try again.
For this machine, check 6000 isnt a normal occurance. Its not an actual error to be fixed by yourself. Just make sure you don't have a paper jam, new ink, printer head is clean (the printer head is the thing between the ink, and the paper, usually a microchip covered with a clear, plastic coating underneath where the ink sits).

Try turning off the fax and turning it back on to reset it. If the power button doesn't work, then unplug it for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, let me know.
