I bought a repair manual from Clymer and found the belt sizes for my Atlas 12.5022 tiller. The manual lists a 1/2 inch by by 36 inch forward belt and 1/2 inch by 32 inch reverse belt for the model 12-5100. Good luck. Don't bother to buy the Clyme manual. It isn't very complete.

I am not sure either, but I think that it would be alot cheeper to buy a new tiller, than to use your strenght fixing a old tiller that you didn't bother to keep the instructions for (no, I am not trying to be harsh. I am trying to be nice. and I am not sure about it coming with instructions, they usually do.)
Sorry, that is the closest picture that I can get.
Here is a link that may help. You will have to get into the gearbox. It isn't too hard but is time consuming. Sounds like the drive for the tiller has broken. Could just be the chain in the gearbox for the tiller drive.
