The first time my husband checked the filter you refer to he did find something like a coin in it. Subsequent times, no hard objects, just a little bit of lint coming out of the small black drain pipe. Any other suggestions? Thanks for getting back to me!

Have you tried cleaning the filter next to the drainage pipe? (Lower left near Door).
The compartment is opened by turning it anti-clockwise and pulling it out (Be wary of water coming out!).

Most likely a small obstruction (Coin, Rocks, Toothpick... and in past experiences a "thong") might be blocking your impeller.

Hope this helps, if it doesn't let me know and I'd get technical ;-)

Kind Regards

It could be that there is a blockage in the sump hose, which is attached to the Drain Pump. your husband will have to manually open the machine (Top Panel first) and gain access to the Drain Pump below the drum, check the hose etc. If there is not blockage there, I am afraid the pump my be presenting you with intermittent problem, and the only way to repair it is by replacing the drain pump completely. * If you found this solution helpful, please rate 4 thumbs up and leave a small testimonial. :-)

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If you have cleaned it completely and nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly then it means that the drain pump is bad and needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Have you checked for any blockages, in the drain pipe? If that doesn't help you might have a bad pump, here's the part:

I have an Axxis+ washer/dryer. The washer is giving me an F:34 error, any ideas?

you can try this I had one of these the other day. On the bottom front of the washer you will find a round access cover, rotate it to the right to remove it, inside you will find a green cord to manually unluck the door, pull it down. Door should now be unlocked. Chances are the door won't unluck because the wash water is not draining from the washer due to a clogged drain pump. Right behind that round access cover is the water pump. Before you open the pump cleanout, soak up all the remaining water inside the wash basket of the machine, or use a wet dry vacuum to vacuum up the water. Have a shallow pan and lots of bath towels to catch the water when you open up the drain pump cleanout. Check the drain pump cleanout for lint, small socks, coins and whatever gets left in pockets of clothes.http://servicetechhelp.com/discus/messages/2801/65423.html?1241057606

The best wat to remove the pump, is to disconnect the washer completely from the water supply, remove the drain hose from the stand pipe, unplug the washer, and tilt the washer backwards.
remove the lower plastic panel if there is one, and access the pump from underneath at the front.
Hope this helps.

My washer stops!

You should check and clean the outgoing water screen to make sure your washer can drain properly. Sounds like you have a restriction in your system.. could be a filter screen or the pump itself. Try the screen first and then cycle a load of wash without any clothes in it to see if it empties the drum completely.
Hope that helps...

was a hair clip stuck in the drain pump..
fixed like this:
Use the small draining pipe that is fitted to the filter housing to drain the water down.

Take the filter out from front bottom.

Inspect and remove any debris blocking the drain pump.
et voila! working!

suspect you have filter blocked or a foreign object in pump. put drain hose as low as possible in a bowl and drain as much water as you can undo filter but be carefull, water will come out in considerable quantities. clean filter check nothing stuck in pump impellor
