Hello again. Best solution is to take the old one out and bring it the nearest Grainger outlet. a 1/4 or 1/3 Horse Power will cost about $80.00. They can match the mounts for you or provide a universal mount kit. All you need for information to give them is voltage and direction of rotation. Just type in "grainger" to find the nearest location. Thanks for writing back with your info..

My fedders a/c will turn on fine but after some minutes the fan will stop but the compresor will still work. i will haveto turn it off and turn it on again after 10 minutes and it will work fine again. but...

You need to replace you fan motor. It is going bad and the amount of amps to keep it going is causing it to over heat. The next time you try it and the motor kicks off see if the motor frame is hot. Be careful I have seen the hot enough to cook eggs. These motors can run between 68 dollars and 160 dollars. The age of the unit and your ability to replace the motor dictates a repair or a replacement. If you ck on the price of the motor and want to do it your self I will be happy to walk you thru it. good luck

Motor keeps shutting off

It's a problem very common on this brand of refrigarators that the compresor relay goes bad and needs to be replaced(located on the side of the compresor under the black plastic cover).

The a/c unit cooling fan shuts down shortly after unit kicks on.

If a fan motor quits working during a cycle it usually means that the thermal protector is turning it off. If you had an amp meter on it, you would notice that it is exceeding the listing on the nameplate, Nine times out of ten this is irreversable, the motor needs to be changed. Sometimes if there are oil ports on the motor, you can add a few drops of zoom spout oil and that does the trick. But usually the motor is already damaged. Good luck.

Amana Cooling Condensing Unit fan stops spinning after 15 mins

Capacitor, dirty condencer coil causing the motor amps to run too high. But most likely worn bearing on blade side of motor causing it to pull to one side causing it to over heat and shut down. Sleve bearings should have no side play.
