Question about Rosco I-Cue Intelligent Mirror (Requires 24V DC Power Supply)

1 Answer

Hi there, the theatre I work at has 4 rosco i-cue mirrors, we've recently started having problems with 2 of them. after being on for a half-hour or more, the mirrors will suddenly begin to miss their mark consistently by about 5 feet (over a throw of 40) in the same direction. when the power supply is reset, and the mirrors re-initialize, their positions once again become correct until the problem occurs again. There is only 20' of cable between the PSU and the icues, and a return line has been applied to no effect. Is this behaviour something that can be expected when an i-cue reaches the age of 5 or 6 years? Any advice is welcomed, my theatre is planning on purchasing a new unit tomorrow morning to replace the first problematic one, but a second has started having trouble today. Thank you for your time, -Garrett G. Barker

I believe that because of the high heat that they are exposed to that there is a servo sensor array that is having issues and needs to be replaced. Rosco recommends contacting the supplier and having them sent in for service.

Sony Home Theatre System Turning Off

Appears that you have a bad cap in the power supply that is changing value as it heats up. Hard to find - only thing you can do is go to suspected units and replace them hoping that you got the bad one. Or just wait till it finally pops.

My Hp 5610xi is printing very slowly

Hi Elijah,

Remove both the cartridges, Clean the contacts ( Electrical/golden contacts ) with Lint free cloth. If possible, use a Cue tip to clean the contacts inside the printer cartridge slot.

After you have done this, reinstall the cartridges and it goes thru Alignment process.

Hope this fixes the issue.

Sounds like the compressor is shuting down on high heat. There could be a couple reasons for this.
1 Check that proper voltage is being supplied to compressor.
2 Freon level may be low. This would be a service call.
3 Bad or intermitent connection at thermostat.
4 Main contacts to compressor sticking, usually burnt or pitted.

Cdj-500ll cue button repair

the faulty button will not stop it from playing well... replacing them is not hard so long as you have some experience with a soldering iron.
Clean the laser lens with a cotton bud wet with windex... then use a dry one to be sure no residue is left. If it still mistracks... new optics required!. You willl need a pioneer service agent to do this for you. A little complex for the first timer :)
