Not too sure why you want to do this, as this is a saftey feature, however it is not as easy as it sounds, there is a fail safe in the block connector that fits to the switch, if it disconnects from the micro switch it shuts the engine down, the best way is to remove the switch from the base of the seat, leave it connected and tape it shut, i would just point out again that this is a saftey feature should you fall off the tractor.

Tractor starts. When put in gear and let off clutch motor stops. Thanks in advance.

On newer lawn tractors there is a safety switch on the seat. When in gear the seat presence switch must be engaged for the tractor to stay running when the clutch is let out,.

Check wiring connector to the switch. Seat requires minimum weight so child protected.

Why does my husqvarna 2448 die when blade engages

I agree with Phil. The safety switch under the seat on my Husqvarna is very sensitive. Sometimes if I hit a large enough bump, it's enough to disengage the switch even with me on the seat.

Gth2548a engine stops running when pto elect. swich is pulled any help

it is probably the saftey switch in the seat. lift up the seat and you will see it. sometimes it gets bent or corroded and does not make proper contact. you can by pass by disconnecting and sticking a wire into both contacts of the plug

Husqvarna tractor starts fine but when I let the pedal out to go the tractor shuts off immediatly. Whats going on?

It sounds like you may have a bad seat switch. There is an electrical switch under the seat that senses when there is weight on the seat, if no weight (or person) the switch keeps the tractor from moving. With the engine off, lift the seat and find the wires going to the switch. Pull the connector off the switch. Put a jumper (short piece of electrical wire about the same diameter as whats in there now) into the connector (one end in one side of the connector, one end in the other, make sure it touches the existing metal on the end of the tractor wires) Put the seat down (make sure that the jumper wire does not touch anything metal under the seat when you put it down) sit on the seat and start the engine. Try driving it. If it moves, the switch was bad. If not let me know.

Husqvarna YTH 2042 lawn tractor It starts OK, but as soon as I take my foot off the clutch, it lugs and quits. Same thing happens if I start to engage the clutch lever, even with my foot still on the...

If it really 'lugs', meaning the engine gradually chugs slower and slower as if it's struggling, then it could be a belt problem, but I'm going to guess it just quits, which suggests a problem with the seat safety switch. Look under the seat, take out the safety switch, and tape it in the pushed-in position. See if the tractor runs now. If so, the switch is the culprit - either it failed, or the mounting is wonky so it doesn't activate when you're in the seat.

Have YTH 150 motor turns not starting.

If I understand, you were mowing and it just stopped running. The motor didn't sieze up, it turns over. Okay and you have spark, and you have gas, have you checked the safety switches. there is one under the seat, the blades, the brake pedal when starting. Make sure that these safety switches are working properly. that is the next step I would take.
