You will need to go to start, devices and printers, select your printer, go to properties, select maintenance and then clean and align your printer cartridges. It may take several cycles before it looks the way you want it to but that should take care of your problem.

I bought some cheap toner and noticed almost immediately streaking and missing lines. I replaced it with HP toner but now black won't print at all.

If your printouts are streaked or faded, missing black or other colors, have blurred or fuzzy text, or ink streaks or smears, or show other problems, please refer to the link below for troubleshooting steps for print quality issues.

HP Deskjet 1220C has started printing a series of vertical blotches and misaligned text in the same three places. Same problem with black or colour. Have aligned cartridges, cleaned fluff, etc, to no...

there might be a problem with the encoder: remove it, observe it closely with a magniying glass, and you have to see a vertical lines pattern all along the enconder, without no blurs or missing or erased parts on it. Try to clean it with alcohol and a cloth but be careful no to erase the patterns i described early. If there are missing lines in the pattern you'll need to replace.

What is the encoder? a strip of semitransparent plastic that goes in the back of the cartridge carriage.

Hp4000n sporadic line of text will have ink missing in single line of text, causing distorted lettering. No pattern to it; random

90% or better chance the problem is in the toner cartridge. I would swap it out with another cartridge and see if the problem goes away. I am sure it will. The only other possibility would be a fusing unit/drive problem but that would only tend to cause blur lines or missing lines that would be on the bottom 1/2 of the page only. It would not affect the top half.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

Describe your Ricoh Aficio 1232C Error Code SC481 Problem

Defective main motor
• Image transfer belt out of position

Right from the service manual
My best guess is belt mark blurred or missing
or image belt out of position

Blurred subject in middle of photo

I own Rebel XT and Canon 50mm f1.8 MKII lens with plastic mount and noticed many pictures with missed focus, either front or back focusing. Meaning objects slight forward or below the intended subject is in focus. I've sent my body and the lens to Canon for evaluation and thet adjusted my focus sensors on the body. I still have problems and there are many threads related to focusing on this camera with 50mm f1.8 that the sensors on this camera do not do so well with fast lens and prone to missed focus.
Test your camera's focusing ability with a book or magazine where you focus on just one specific line and see if it is truly in focus when you review the picture.

Print result at 1st line ok..2nd line become blur..its alternate till end of printing

Replace the ink cartridge.
The cartridge is so wide that it can print 2 lines at a time, and the upper part of it is probably partially clogged. That's why every 2'nd line is blurred, and the rest is ok.
