Wen i connect my i pod to computer it does not connect

Check to see whether your iPod shuffle is the original stick version or the newer version, which plugs into the iPod dock connector.

Turn your PC on.

The PC needs to be on to transfer music and charge the iPod shuffle.

Place the iPod shuffle in the iPod dock connector if you have the newer version.

If you're using the original version, then plug it directly into a high-power USB port on your PC.

Check the monitor to ensure iTunes has loaded.

This means a connection was established.

hope this helps

I can t play my ipod i just installed songs to it and it doesn t work when i tried to play it, it has no sounds, it's an ipod shuffle.

  • I THINK YOU SHOULD UP DATE YOUR SOFTWARE.To update and reinstall your iPod software, first download the latest version of iTunes.
  • Next, open the new version of iTunes and connect your iPod to your computer.
  • Select your iPod in the source list and click "Check for Update" under the Settings tab. iTunes will check to see if your iPod needs to be updated and perform the update for you.
  • If this does not resolve the issue, try completely uninstalling iTunes and then reinstalling the latest version of iTunes

New Ipod Shuffle is not loading songs

Hi,
Generally you do not have to change the drive letter. There is a 'shuffle restore' program from Apple that you can download for free. Using this to restore your iPod will set it back to factory conditions. Do you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer? If not, you might want to try that also. Have you tried dragging your playlist into the Shuffle? I find that it helps with my shuffle to create playlists and have it fill out of them. That way I can change the playlist every day. Works for me. Hope that helps.
