You should be able to get it at a local computer retailer. It will be a USB cable on one end and then the end that will fit your camera on the other side. If you bring your camera to a store that sells computers, they should have cables like that available. If you need to order it online, please tell me what make and model of camera you have.

Replace positive battery cable 97 montero

A lot of cars have two cables on the positive post.
Do you need to replace the cables or is the battery post clamp broken. You can buy a replacement post clamp if you have the type of cables that are bolted to the clamp.
If you need the cable, a oem replacement from your dealer parts counter will match. You can get after market replacements, just look for one that matches your original as close as possible. The parts counter guy should be able to help.

When I hook up my router to my main computer I am switched to working off line. This did not used to happen

try these steps...in this order.

This assumes that the pc goes online when plugged into your cable/dsl modem directly.

  1. turn off your pc.
  2. disconnect pc from router and router from modem. unplug power from modem for 30 sec.plug it back in and wait one minute.
  3. unplug power from router for 30 sec.plug it back in and wait one minute.
  4. plug an ethernet cable from modem to wan/internet port on the router and wait one minute.
  5. Connect pc to any lan port on the router and start it up.
  6. If still no good, try the other lan ports on the router
  7. if still no good, try with different ethernet cables.
  8. If still no good, reset router to factory settings. Do you get an ip address? Can you ping the router? Can you log into it with a web browser? If you reset it and can't get an ip/ping/login then the router is dead and should be replaced. If it's less than a year old, contact the manufacturer for a free warranty replacement.
  9. Hope this helps, let me know if I can help any more.

I have a thin blacl=k line across the screen of my

Unlikely but possible that the video card has gone bad. the easiest way to check is to hook it up to an external monitor (if it has that capability) if the line is on the external monitor then it is the video card and depending on the model of the laptop it may not be able to be repaired. video cards are often built in and cannot be exchanged.

There are 3 things normally cause this. the first and cheapest of the 3 is to check the video cable. normally you wont have to take more than the keyboard and the faceplate between the keyboard and the monitor off. once those are removed you should see a flat ribbon cable running from the monitor into the laptop. make sure it is plugged in good. if it is then it is passable that the cable is bad. you will need to order a replacement cable either from ebay.com or you may be able to order from hp.com. it is a little of a pain to take the screen apart and get to the other end of the cable but it can be done. just remember to be gentle and don't pull to hard it is plastic. if you pull gently and nothing happens chances are you missed a screw somewhere. the other thing that normally causes this is the monitor going bad. a replacement monitor can usually be found cheap on ebay.com just make sure to get one with warranty.

After hooking up wireless router model #WRT54G2, all I get is a error code that my either net cable is unplugged when it is connected per installation CD (checked it numerous times) Is my cable defective?

The problem is one of three things. The order of replacement is as follows:

1. Bad Cable
2. Bad Network jack connection
3. Bad router

When items are functioning properly you will have connect LEDs on the network card and the router. Also ensure that you TCP/IP setting are set to obtain an IP address automatically

Cable modems

I have heard of people doing it.
However, you will need to pay the cable company for an additional line / service, as the MAC address of the modem has to be registered with them in order for it to work.
