Hi,

It sounds like the timer or motor is causing this problem. The only way to confirm this would be to take some voltage readings with a multimeter. You can also try changing the wash action switch to other settings & see if the motor kicks in, the switch may be bad.
Another chance is the clutch is defective. If this is the case, I would recommend purchasing a new washer because of the cost of the repair.

Hope this helps.

From the closed position lift the lid of the washer about 2'' and listen for a distinct click. Then set lid back down and should hear another click just before it closes. The wire form hinge on left side of lid actuates the lid switch. Is it broken? Let me know.

Thanks in advance, my washer fills with water but doesn`t spin. not any noise.

The safety interlock switch might be bad. That's a safety switch to prevent the machine from agitating or spinning while the door is open. Close the door slowly and listen for a click just before it is completely closed. If you don't hear it, then check the alignment of the door and its actuator. If you do hear a click but the machine doesn't start, then the switch may need replacement.

Dear Sir my washing machine which is one year old started for the last couple of weeks todo unnecessarily noises and also it doesn not drain the water, showing code F05. WHAT TO DO? thank you!

F05 on an Indesit washing machine means "Pressure switch jammed on trip"

As is often the case, knowing the error code is one thing, but findng the cause is another because error codes often have several possible causes. The wording of the error code explanation suggests the pressure switch clicked on to register a water level, but when the water was drained away it remained on instead of turning off. I would guess there could be a blockage in the pressure system, or the pressure switch could be faulty. Also, if the water didn't drain properly it would cause the pressure switch to stay on too. Finally, the Indesit washing machines PCB's can give erroneous errors where the fault turns out to be with the pcb itself. This makes things very difficult if you don't have access to replacement PCB's to try.

Basically, I would keep an eye on the washing machine and try it again. If it reoccurrs then clearly it needs sorting, but if it doesn't it might have just been one of those things.

Washer filled with water and then does nothing but make a clicking noise

If it's not spinning, the transmission is bad. If it's just not emptying the water, the pump is clogged or bad.

Unless you can replace the transmission yourself, it would be a better bargain to buy a new washer.

Whirlpool Duet Sport not running it makes clicks and it grinds

A common problem with noises from washing machines has been the under wire that may come out of small clothes. In the washer they can get stuck in one of the inner basket holes and make a scrapping noise, they can actually make there way into the pump and jam the pump, or make a terrible noise when the pump is running. Grab a flash light and have a peek inside the washer for this. Front load washers seem very common to this happen! If the tiny cloth is showing signs of fraying, may be best not to wash it in the washing machine, replace the cloth.=======
It's noisy Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.
