My dstv decoder keeps freezing. the picture freezes and you can do nothing apart from resetting the decoder. this happens several times in an hour.its a DSD 720i

In most cases if there was water and the set was put on before the traces were removed , it is quite possible that some sensitive component could be damaged.
hence it is important to start from the beginning. Use a hair dryer to warm, use soldering iron to solder suspected joints and if you hear/see steam while the iron is used on the pins then it is for sure that water is lodged in the component base. You will need to do the work with caution till there are no traces. A slight short can result in flickering , if not there are failures in the board.

just go to menu and click arial ant and press auto program its automatically reprogram it store all channel
