Sometimes, for no apparent reason, my phone will just randomly turn off -- even in the middle of a conversation. it usually immediately turns back on if i push the power button. i tried replacing the battery, but it doesn't seem to correlate with how much charge it has. I got a replacement phone for this same problem, but it started happening again, and my phone is no longer under warranty. any suggestions?
You shouldn't have bought a Samsung. I have had this trouble with some old Ericssons; it was caused by the case fastening screws being loose. Tightening them fixed it. But if you had the same thing happen with 2 different phones, then it means you should have got a Motorola or a Nokia.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi, This happens sometimes with all phones but not usually. When you are in a call, accidently your keypad or touchscreen may get pressed by your cheek and so it may automtically dial to your voice mail. The dropping of calls occurs whenever you are in a call at weak signal locations. If the problem still persists, then backup all your data and contacts from your mobile and go for a master reset. This should help you in most of the mobile related problems. I hope this is helpful to you
Have you tried turning the phone off and taking the battery out for about 5 mins? I had a problem with my motorola phone doing the same thing and also sometimes there is a reset option in the settings sometimes in the security settings... Hope this helps
i've had the same problem, but it doesn't even work if i leave the battery out for even a full day sometimes. i have to press the camera button over and over again for about an hour or two, waste of time! i tried calling verizon but they told me it was end-user abuse, so i have to pay fifty dollars to replace it!
I have this phone and must say it has totally pissed me off at this point so I understand everyone's frustration. My phone had many of the problems posted on this sit but here is the solution to your specific issue, which I just had to fix on my phone yesterday. First, the people at the phone stores will tell you it is the battery - IT IS NOT USUALLY THE BATTERY! The OS (operating system) for the phone is the worst I have ever seen. The FIX - Go to the Sony Website (http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/z750a?lc=en&cc=us) here you will the update to your phone software. Download the software and follow the instructions. Yes, it will work even though you seem to have no display. Warning---- This will erase all the phone memory and reset it to original factory setting. You will lose everything not back up on a memory chip or the SIM card. Also, you will need to use a phone to usb cable that you may have to purchase (10 dollars or so). To get the phone working again it may be worth it. I back up my phone to my computer so that I maintain picture and such that I do not want to lose.
In general I back up my phone frequently because the OS becomes unstable and crashes the phone. I do an extraordinary amount of texting and if I receive a text and send a text at the same time the phone just gives up sometimes and shuts off. And, this phone is the KING of shutting down for no reason whatsoever. I have had so many issues with the operating system that I will not get another Sony phone. Back to Nokia for me. Hope this can save some people the time and aggravation I have had with it.
This same problem hapnd 2 my fne i bet the smaller screen at the front dosent work either well the problem is the wire connecting from the screen to the main part isloose try tightening it,if this does not work squeeze the screen/middle part conecting the two
You need an expert one to open your phone, during your conversation the signal components is in heavy duty, one of this is the signal power amplifier ( P.A ) the source of power is from power IC ( UEM ) grounded P.A sometimes kills the phone and need to replace it, if not work, the UEM is already busted replaced it, before all of this try to reformat first.
