I don't have your exact same camera but on mine you push the menu button, go to tolls and you'll see settings like +1 , +5 +10 these are the delay times once you select one you push the shutter and mine beeps and then beeps faster as it gets closer to the time out and then it takes the picture ( this is handy for taking pictures of yours elf and mine has a little light on the front that flases as it counts down and it stops after to takes the picture.

When I take a pic, there is a delay in the time

Hi,
There could be several problems like: 1)the focus 2)Self timer set to 2sec or 10sec 3)very slow shutter speed set
Make it as a 10 or 20 second delay on the self timer .Your problem here could be that the settings are not right. Go to the menus and reset all to original or default. Then set menus the way you like. You may have a slow memory card, try changing to a faster card, and test it.
Thank you!

Long delay before can shoot another picture

This can happen when the card is nearly full or you've been deleting the pics but never formatting the card to give it a fresh start. Download any pics from the card and then format it in the camera.

Some pics are fuzzy and some aren't? and it takes a long time to take the pic after u hit the button, like it has a delay but i don't see that option

You're supposed to press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus before you press the rest of the way.

Timed pic taking

Press left on the multiselector (marked with a one-handed clock). Once the self-timer has been selected, you start it by pressing the shutter release button.

How to stop delay.

It sound like your ISO speed is set too low. I would bet you're taking pictures inside a building with few or not ambient light. Try changing the ISO to 400 or 800. You might also consider using the flash.

I hope this helps! Please post rating, if it does.
