Question about GPX MW3837 MP3 Player

Need to Re-Install GPX MW3837 MP3 Player

When I bought this MP3 player it came with instructions on how to set up/install it on the pc. I lost the instructions that also had a Tech Support phone number. Anyway, I called the Tech Support and they helped me setup/install the MP3 player on my pc. Not sure how or why but about a month ago my daughter wanted to download more songs to her player but when she plugged it in, the Windows Media player kept saying to connect a device, but it was already connected. I have checked my pc and it looks like somehow the MP3 player was uninstalled or something. When the player is plugged in to recharge the pc says new hardware found and something pops up to try and install it. I try it, but then it says it can't install it because hardware not found or something like that. I'm not a pc wiz so I have no idea what happened. Ever since I bought the MP3 player and the tech folks helped me get it set up back in Sept 2007, it worked fine. Any help someone can give me woild be appreciated. My email is ninajones42@hotmail.com. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find my way back to this site. Thanks in advance for your help.

Downloading from CDs

Not sure what OS you have or what version Media Player you're using - If you have Windows XP and Media Player 10, you need to make sure you have the MW3837 set to "MTP" and not "USB".
