Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

What is a pdf

A "pdf" is a file type created by Adobe and is associated with Adobe Reader. "PDF" stands for "Portable Document Format" and allows documents to be viewed the way they were written - with all the fonts, pictures, etc. intact - even if the computer on which they're being displayed with lacks the font files, graphics programs, etc. locally.

The Adobe Reader program is free to download and use. Adobe Acrobat (or "Writer as is it is often called) is the original program used to actually create a pdf file. This program is not free. There are however, other programs that have become available that will create a pdf file free.

If this was helpful please rate it thumbs up. Thanks!

I have a read only PDF form (have Adobe Reader installed). I would like to enter customer information into the form & Save/Email to a client. Do I have to purchase Adobe Writer software?

No, there are free PDF solutions available. One that I personally recommend and believe to be MUCH better than Adobe is Nitro PDF Reader. It's free here: http://www.nitroreader.com/download/

I want instruction manual for singer overlocker model 14SH654

To download a copy of the USER'S MANUAL for your machine, just go to the Singer Support site for your model at the following link (just click on the text below with your mouse):

http://www.singerco.com/accessories/manuals.html

When you get to the support page, enter the model number 14SH654 in the empty search box in the lower right hand side of the page.

On the next page click on the little red FREE DOWNLOAD button.
It will be at the right hand side of the second or fourth item on the list. Pick which version is yours.

After you click on that button, it will ask you if you want to open or save the file.
Choose SAVE.

Now Choose a location on your computer where you would like to save the file.
The easiest place is just right on your DESKTOP so it will be easy to find later.
Now click SAVE.

Once the download completes in about 5 seconds,
Click on the OPEN button.

If the document opens then just read it, or print it off if you want, or just leave it on your computer to reference when you need it.

If the document does not open, then you may need a PDF viewer program like ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents.

You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.
Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there and follow the onscreen instructions to install it.

Install the ADOBE READER program then you can come back to your desktop and open the USER'S MANUAL document without a problem.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

Thank you very much and good luck.

New all in one printer/scanner. when I scan I get:- Adobe reader could not open 'scan_Doc0001.pdf'

Might need a bit more information about this: But I'm presuming you scan your document and save it as a pdf document using the built in HP software?
Couple of things to try:
1 - have you got the latest version of Adobe Reader? It may be that you are using an older version - the pdf document specification has been updated over the years and it may be that you're saving the pdf using a newer version of the pdf format than adobe reader is able to read.
2 - Adobe reader isn't the only pdf viewer, there are numerous other pdf document viewers (some free some not) You could try another pdf viewer, like Foxit Reader (free to use) and see if that can open it?
3 - When you save the scan, make sure that in the Save Dialog box it is really saving it as pdf. Common mistake is that people often just save a file with .pdf and expect the program to know that you want to save as pdf. When you scan there are several other file formats that you can use (Tiff, Jpeg etc) Is is possible you're saving the file as Tiff or Jpeg but with a .pdf file extension? If you're not sure, re-scan the document and resave it, but don't use a file extension, let the scanning program do that, see what it saves it as?
4 - check where you're saving the pdf on your computer? Is the place you're trying to open it from, the same as the place you've saved it?

How do i shut the flash off on the fe 280 camera

OK, first download the manual for you camera. Click this link
http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/208_manuals.cfm?prodID=P_N2941392

Then under 'Basic Instruction Manual' Click 'Start Download'
Save this file to your computer (remembering where you saved it to, the desktop is always a good place to save temporarily).

You wil need a PDF viewer to view this file. If you don't have one, you can download one from

http://www.pdf2exe.com/reader.html - Cool PDF Viewer
or
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ - Adobe Reader 9

Open the document and check out page 14. Nik

Will not scan to PDF

I have had the same problem and was looking for an answer... Here is what I have been doing... Download Cute PDF Writer. It is free from Adobe. Once you save the document as a JPG, then print it using the Cute PDF Writer. Simply Select the Cute PDF Writer from your Printer list, it will then act as if it will print but bring up a screen where you want to save it. once you save it, the document will be a PDF. Not a great solution but it works

Not able to resign a pdf file when making revision (changing a date). Keep getting error message of: CSigDict.cpp Line 1663

If the file is opened in Acrobat Reader you can not do editing. You have to use Acrobat Writer to do this.
If you do not have Acrobat Writer, you have to download a free PDF Creator.
If you are using a PDF writer to convert a word document to PDF format, save both files, that is- the Word document (or Excel worksheet) and the PDF file. This way, if you need to edit, you can go back to the original document and edit.
Hope this will help.

Unable to create pfd with word 2007 document

That is normal, Word 2007 cannot create PDF documents, it can only save files on PDF but, being PDF non his own format, it will lose document format, and may not display pdf.

To create PDF you need the full version (not the free acrobat reader) of adobe acrobat, or a different adobe software (eg illustrator) that manages PDF.
