Feed cable signal directly to tv(no BOX) activate auto-program for channel memory.

I have a LG 42LC2DB when u first turn on tv all is fine remote wrks can change sound and channel no problems, but then all of a sudden the remote stops working cant change channel alter sound or anything....

My remote won't allow me to turn on our TV but after I turn the TV on, the remote allows me to change the volume and mute but will not allow me to change channels.

I would re-program the remote. I don't belive this is the exact correct code. Some codes kinda work but no fully. That's when it's time for another code for your brand or use the setup and power auto-code search

It could well be your remote control has a problem. Try removing the batteries from the remote control and see if the problem goes away, if it does, try new bateries on the remote controller, if that does not work you may have to get a new remote controller
